wisdom teeth, demerol, and dry sockets...

i recently had all 4 wisdom teeth yanked out. wasn't too bad at all, iv of demerol and some sort of tranquilizer with nitrous to top it off. the downside is im almost positive im developing a dry socket. blod clot seems to be missing and its startin to throb. they gave me ibuprofen for swelling and whatnot which actually does the trick but wont do shit for a dry socket. im supposed to go in next week if a dry socket occurs, so what should i tell him when he notices it to hopefully score some better meds? at my age i wouldnt think hed normally give out good schtuff, but a buddy of mine whos a year younger got a whole bottle of percs! damn doc's

Call in ASAP and tell him that not only is the ibuprofen not cutting it for pain, you think that you are getting dry sockets. Also, I suppose that you could go into the ER if they really do hurt bad (or, you say they hurt bad). You will prolly get something out of the deal.

and getting meds to play with later or get high now will not be on your mind
the fact that youre in the worst pain of your life will be
and you will get some percs most likely
hopefully youll have some aftwards for fun
just keep telling the doc it still hurts, the meds arent cutting it, youre scared youre taking it too often to cover the pain and so on
