Will regularly taking baking soda increase your tolerance?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I take a relatively low dose of Vyvanse (40mg) and do not want to increase it. So I take magnesium and baking soda. The baking soda increases the potency A TON (not sure if the magnesium actually keeps tolerance at bay but I believe it does. However, seeing as more amphetamine gets to the brain when the stomach is less acidic, wouldn't you eventually become tolerant to whatever amount of medication is getting to the brain with the addition of baking soda? Say I take 40mg, which equals around 15mg of d-amp, but my stomach acid reduces it to 10mg. So I'm tolerant to 10mg, but I start taking baking soda and begin getting 14mg out of the med. Won't I just become tolerant to the 14 as I had been the 10?

I can't see how it would. What's your basis on this speculation?

EDIT:
Sorry, i honestly didn't notice the second half of your post. I thought it was a long signature.

Baking soda it's self will not increase tolerance but it can increase the bioavailability of the amphetamine and therefore I would assume tolerance would increase more sharply due to more amphetamine getting to the brain.

...is why.

I say that any increased effect is going to result in increased tolerance. That said, using in itself is responsible for much of tolerance building...

Think of it in terms of the body adjusting over time to balance out the chemical change you are inducing. The regularity and intensity of the effects correlates directly to dosing, obviously. This also correlates to the balance that your brain will try to create to cope with the changed chemical balance.

Yes, using antacids or baking soda with your amphetamine will make tolerance develop more quickly. They prevent the amphetamine from being eliminated from the body as quickly, thereby increasing the length of time its active.

no u wont because since its in a amino acid its 100% bioavalibility if eaten
