ok well im prescribed for adderall 10mg when i go back to the docs and i tell him when i take the adderall as prescribed i cant get to sleep but if i only do one capsule i dont get any effect so he cant down my dose. will he perscribe me like a benzo like k-pins(what im really looking for) or xanax?

Most docs prefer to prescribe benzos short-term (for up to 6 weeks, I think) to prevent the patient getting addicted.

He may just change your existing medication instead.

Well normally you'd want a strong tranq' type benzo like Valium, xanax, klonopin for coming down from adderall's if youre mis-using the script n taking em to get buzzed, but having prescriotions for a benzo AND speed will not b good for you, before you know it youre gonna feel the physical addiction of benzo's n you will wish you never fucked with her :)

Just ask for a strong sleeping pill, after that shit wears off wat else would u want to do rather than get some sleep anyway ?

I agree with the above poster. Also, the time after addiction sucks if you've fucked up your GABA system, that really makes life suck. Careful with benzos, they destroy a lot of people.

Your doctor might move you to a non-stimulant (or weaker stimulant, as the case may be) ADD med (assuming that's why you get the adderal) like Stratera and take you off Adderall completly. I think that'd probably be the first line of action since you're already on such low doses of adderall and you still can't sleep. I think most doctors would take you off the speed before putting you on benzos (that seems like the first logical responce, to continue ADD treatment with a diferent drug before getting you on something else). Then again, many doctors aren't very logical.

Yeah Doctors really dont like putting a patient on uppers and downers. It just makes them look bad on a pharmacy script all together

hell yea i shoulda just said the adderall was fine but when i go back ima say this shit is usless and get my adderall back haha

OK. I took straterra when I was little. It just made me fall asleep. Say its doing something along the lines of that. ;)

just forget it he prescribed me strattera and it sucks.
Does it suck as much as this thread?

Bluelight isn't here to tell you what to say to your doctor, speculate what your doctor will do, or read your mind as you always think it can. How about reading the rules and guidelines before shitting all over the forums?

There isnt any mods in here bitching at you.. And its not that old considering you've still been posting in it today.. Anyway like he said theres no use for threads like this on bl, but hopefully u get ur addy back cuz that blows.

The first thing doctor's prescribe for people with sleep problems is pretty much NEVER Benzos. Usually the second thing doctor's try isn't Benzos either... or the third thing... Fuck, you'd be lucky to even get Ambien.

this thread is really old and i don't need mods bitching at me for a thread i posted when i first joined damn.

Bluelight Crew aren't currently Moderators.

No one's bitching at you either.

There's just a reason why we don't allow these types of threads often, we have no idea what your doctor is going to do.

If you complain about insomnia to doctors due to Adderall XR, they have a few different choices. 1) Move you to Shittera, 2) Switch you over to Adderall IR and see if you still have insomnia or not, 3) Lower your Adderall XR dose, or 4) try a methylphenidate (Ritalin or Concerta) based product.

We can't help you get clonazepam or alprazolam from a doctor, only you can tell him the truth (your symptoms). Explain to the doctor why you think you deserve clonazepam and/or alprazolam.

I got benzos as the second thing, and they worked well with me. I don't take them every night.

PS they push Ambien here like they pushed Zoloft in the year 2007. I don't like cancer so I said no thank you. :)
