ok so i took Tramadol on Wednesday (last night) and plan to roll tomorrow (Friday) I read that tramadol causes seratonin release. so will this have an impact upon my roll? I have a pretty low tolerance and i only roll usually every 6-8 week.

I don't think tramadol releases serotonin, it's action is that of an SSRI, that is, it prevents serotonin from being taken back up by cells to be destroyed or reused. So you have more serotonin molecules in your synapses doin their thing for longer.
To answer your question, though, it will definitely affect your roll. In my experience, taking tramadol and other SSRIs prevented me from rolling at all, even off a few pretty decent pills. And that's the best case scenario! In the worst case scenario, you risk giving yourself serotonin syndrome, which isn't very common but quite unpleasant and even potentially deadly if it does occur.
So definitely DON'T mix the two, I feel lucky that the worst that happened to me was that I didn't roll, the combo could have had much more disastrous effects.
However, since you took the trams wednesday and aren't rolling til friday, you should be okay. The trams will be out of your system by then, especially if you don't take them on a regular basis. They shouldn't impact your roll given that large of a timeframe between the two.

There is another reason not to take them together. Both tramadol and MDMA increase the potential for seizure. Combining the 2 could cause you to go into convulsions

I haven't had any issues with using tramadol and then taking mdma, and other people I have known haven't seemed to have any issues either, and I have known occasional users as well as daily users who have been able to roll even still.
There is a possibility for that to happen though for the issues that palli outlined. Tramadol does act as a mild ssri/snri. Each person is different though.

Tramadol lowers the seizure threshold pretty strongly by itself and is serotogenic in action. I was curious about this as well a few months back and perusing the internet found a bunch of people who had bad experiences with either having seizures or thier roll being killed

I've taken Tramadol a couple days before rolling and I must say that it decreased my roll significantly. I did not know that it would make such a difference, but for me it did. It may or may not be different for you but my advice would be to wait at least 1-2 weeks before trying to roll.
As long as you leave at least 24-48 hours between taking them it is quite safe and shouldn't affect the MDMA in any great way. Taking them together or not leaving enough time for the tramadol to clear your system before MDMA would be a high risk of Serotonin Syndrome. It's a potentially lethal combo so I would exercise extreme caution in making sure to leave a buffer zone of no tramadol for a day or two before and after using MDMA. I got Serotonin Syndrome last year on just 100mg of tramadol and LSD which releases way less serotonin than MDMA so less of am SS risk... in theory. As long as you keep them totally separate as you plan it's not a problem but I would advise skipping your tramadol the day after MDMA use too - far less risk of SS but can be kinda unpleasant anyway, in my experience. Tramadol is a very odd drug indeed and has literally hundreds of seriously dangerous interactions so always best to check up first - wish I did last year :D

I just want to add that in an effort to be safe I waited 3 days to get high off of trams after I rolled, still even 3 days afterward I just felt weird without any good feelings I get while on trams. Now I just don't put them anywhere within 7 days of one another, and I roll so infrequently now that I would be pissed to weaken it by taking tramadol beforehand.
Okay sorry for the extremely late reply. So i did end up having a good roll with nothing noticeably different from how the experience usually is. But my question now is I took tramadol yesterday evening and am planning on taking 150 mg of md and 20 mg of 2 cb once i peaked. I just feel more weary because this time i took the trama

I have heard that if you combine amphetamine and tramadol it may cause serotonin syndrome, so if your pills contain any amphetamine you probably should be on the lookout.

In my own experience, Tramadol kills the roll. Well, at least half of it. Not as much as a typical SSRI, which simply cancel the roll for me, but not far. Avoid the combo! I have no idea as to how much time you should wait between the last Tram and the pill(s): I haven't rolled in 10 months bc I'd so much like to eventually regain part of the magic, but it has eluded me (methylphenidate which I have been prescribed might also be a culprit...).
