Will takeing. effexor er with flexeril be to risky?

I take 150mg of effexor er everyday, and I was wondering if taking 10mg of flexeril (muscle relaxer) be dangerous? There aparantly is an interaction, cause they both mess with seratonin, which can cause seratonin syndrome. With the dose of effexor I take and the dose of flexeril I'm willing to take be to risky? The reason for the flexeril use is the intense restless leg I experience everynight. Please no answers of my decision of taking a med that's not prescribed to me, I just need an answer to my question. Thanks.

A couple of doses most likely wont be an issue. Now if you take the flexeril multiple times a day for extended periods, of course the risk will be greater. You could of course ask your doc for a different med for the RLS if you are too worried.
