Any fans of Will Self keep an eye out for the repeat of Question time (think it's bbc news somewhere over the weekend). Micheal Gove said "Quite frankly we've all had enough of you" and Will said "Well I've not had enough lets take it outside" :D

Hes cool. Micheal Gove is such a dickhead, pisses me off watching him talk

I met him in a visiting queue for a prison. Had a good chat with him. He was surprisingly less grumpy and verbose than on tv. Just a decent, friendly down to earth bloke who shared a roll up with me. :)

when he said "we" did it look like he was speaking for everyone (and everyone agreed with him) ? I very much doubt it. Ive not watched it yet, its on my to do list, but i keep forgetting.

The angry exchanges are on youtube. Look for Gove versus Will Self. The audience are split between Gove and Will.

Oh dear, Ive just watched it. Definately not Will Self's finest hour. Those have been on Have I Got News For You IMO where he and Merton and Hislop all gell together in their exchanges.

He was outwitted by Gove in the angry exchange, and made an embarassment of himself. Some of his points may have been excellent, but they were not at all clearly or very well expressed this time round.

Get yourself better prepared next time Will !

I don't think he was outwitted - obviously Gove is PR trained in talking so he appears to be more fluent but Will came across better I think. Certainly the "Come outside" was obviously a satire on Gove claiming he'd "had enough" of Will talking as if he has the right to say that.

Question Time.. I used to love it, but increasingly it just looks like drama to me. I don't think anything useful can be achieved by getting celebrities onto a panel to answer complex questions in two or three minutes under televised scrutiny. It's just spectacle, and although I can understand why Self obliges to join in (the alternative is to leave the high profile public space to the "mainstream" views) perhaps it would be better if there was some other more serious alternative for chomping through the issues raised.

Self sounded fed up of the brain washed bullshit. if i was that self bloke id of wanted to absolutely smack the shit out of gove

I am not a great fan of his novels but hits restaurant reviews in the Observer were the very stuff of legend, sacked for doing H on John Majors plane, surprise , hardly, he managed to review an eatery and obliquely the crack scene in Ladbroke Grove two weeks before.

David Dimbleby would be most offended by that. Apparently he was responsible for making many programs too serious, which resulted in them loosing their popularity. The independent/celebrity guest always plays to the public gallery, i dont know why Will Self was called out and criticised for doing that, Gove must have been getting desperate for a put down line.

You've got Newsnight ? But whats that show with Portillo and that ginger headed cunt whats his name, its dreadful. Bunch of smug, smarmy, self satisfied, egotitistical pricks. Yeah i dont like it very much.

Edit: Its called The Politics Show I think. Doh ! If you havent seen it, its on at 11.15pm and its worth watching just to see how bad it is, and how long it will take before you start shouting at the people on the show. Hold on, its only nutters that do that, but you know what i mean. Its very AGGRAVATING.

I think Krishnan Gurumurphy on Ch4 is the worst right-wing prick of a presenter on any channel tho.
