Will popping 160 mg of OP's get me high?

I have eight 20 mg OPs (160 mg) and i was wondering if it will get me high if i pop them? I usually need an 80 mg oxycontin to get me high, but will these OPs work? and how long will it take for it to kick in?

160mg of Sustained-Release Oxycodone is a very large amount considering that it takes 80mg to get you where you feel "high". The trouble comes with the fact that even after your high has ended, the negative effects of opiates such as respiratory depression will remain and could end in an OD.

It would be wise to stay within your limits and remember that you can always take more, but you can never take less after you've dosed.

If by OP your referring to oxymorphone or opana, a dose of 160 milligrams oxymorphone is equivalent to 320 milligrams of oxycodone according to the bluelight opioid conversion chart. Which means if you want to achieve the effects of 80 milligrams of oxycodone, you should take 40 milligrams of Opana.

The onset of opana is about 30 minutes give or take (could fluctuate depending on your liver, metabolism, absorption) and should last you from 7-10 hours.

If 80mgs of oxycontin get you buzzed, you shouldnt need to take more than 4 of the OPs as its the same thing.
Now by chance did you mean 80mgs of oxycodone gets you buzzed?
 
but with the ops you have to take a little bit more to feel normal doses because i dont think it all dissolves in your stomach and just sucks. for example i can sniff 15-20 mgs of ir oxy to get a good high going and anything over 25 makes me nauseous and dizzy. i took 40 mgs that day and i didnt feel the same high as my 15-20 mgs of IR.

the only benefit to the shitty ops is if you can do the microwave method (its on here somewhere) and sniff them or if you take a little more then usual the high you do get lasts awhile.
 
Don't microwave your drugs. The only reason your not enjoying the oxymorphone is that it's sustained release which is nearly impossible to defeat. Just take a moderate dose and be happy with what you have.

Did you by any chance mean to say it takes you 80mg of regular release oxycodone to get high? If you did mean Oxycontin, why would you think you would need double that amount of Oxycontin OPs? 80mg is still 80mg, whether you take one 80mg pill or four 20mg pills. I am confused. Oxycontin is extended release oxycodone, as are Oxycontin OPs. Did you think because of the size difference in pills or the fact that they are OPs they would have substantially worse absorption or something? Until you provide more info so we can give better advice, please do NOT take double your normal amount of oxy!

We also don't do threads to help someone get high, but I'll leave this open because there are some real safety issues that could be addressed here with more info from you.
 
I think OP meant would taking 160mg of the op formula be the same as his normal dose of 80 mg oxycodone. If so then yeah youre about spot on. 80mg oxycodone orally gets me a decent high, and about 160 mg oxy op formula gets me there.....but for 3 times as long. cut them into 4s with wire cutters. ThATS IF my original assumption of your question is correct
 
i can cut the OPs in perfect halves with a pill cutter, you just gotta put a little pressure on it but it works

the microwave method is a good one IMO and if you do it right you can rail it. but taking orally if you usually do 80 mgs id just do 120. i got a tolerance of 15-20 mgs of oxy and i was fine off more then half of an OP 80 and that was at work to.

they do hurt your stomach like a mofo tho. them things suck but if you achieve a high it will last a while.
