I am withdrawing from benzos and take lyrica everyday at a dose of 225 mg. My questionis i ordered some relax-all with phenibut and if I were to take it a few times a week would it make my lyrica ineffective? It is helping me and i don't wanna mess it up but somedays I need something extra. I don't plan on taking the phenibut everyday

Phenibut is a GABA-b agonist and Lyrica is a gaba analogue so I doubt it, they have different mechanisms of action but maybe someone can shed more light on this.

There might be a partial tolerance. Pregabalin has a few different mechanisms of action, one of which is increasing the amount of GABA in the brain, so part of it's effect is due to that neurotransmitter.

Phenibut is a GABAB receptor agonist, so by causing a down-regulation of that receptor some of the GABAB modulated effects of pregabalin might be reduced. However, the effects of pregabalin that are due to voltage-dependent calcium channels and the reduction of other neurotransmitter levels may not be effected.

the effects might be reduced just while on the phenibut? or after it is out of my system?
