It's widely believed that taking MDMA regularly will eventually lose the magic.
My friend BABs was taking MDMA crystals on average once every 1-2 months for 2 years (the first year, consistently great, the second 'hit and miss').
However, for a whole year, he was unable to get MDMA anymore, so he took mephedrone/4-mmc instead.
Recently, he managed to get pure MDMA again. Would taking mephedrone for a year, which is touted as being similar to MDMA, still cause a depreceation of 'magic' from the MDMA, or should your body read it as 'wow, MDMA for the first time in a year!'?
BABs tried this pure MDMA on Saturday and rather than get a euphoric high and chatty, he felt withdrawn, very wobbly, monged out, hot and sweaty, and had massive pupil dilation. The euphoric high and empathy lasted for just 10mins. It's possible though that he took too much (4 dabs over a 3-hour period) before coming up...
Can anyone comment on what BABs problem was?
