Will Memantine affect the quality of a roll?

A festival is coming up and in preparation I wanted to start a memantine run. I read somewhere that it might affect the quality of the roll though (can't find where that was).

Any experience?

I believe some people use it as a nootropic, though IIRC it's efficacy isn't researched at all

Memantine is great for a lot of things. I can for example prevent neurotoxicity (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17980434) (arguably that's in mice, but still)
It's also often used as a pre-treatment before starting a stimulant to fight / slow down tolerance build up

My question was more if it would (negatively) affect how a roll feels, tolerance aside
