Will klonopin ease my gabapentin withdraws?

Okay I'm going to run out of gabapentin before my next refill and I was just wondering how well klonopin will ease the withdraws.....I have 1 mg twice a day.
 
Sorry for it not having a concrete question. I just need to know if klonopin will mask the hellish withdrawals of gabapentin........
 
I was just wondering anyone had experience with this......I mean I'm not really tripping on it.....But I have had gabapentin withdraws and they where so bad that I started to get to the point I wanted to kill myself......I have 47 1mg clonazepam. Purepac. Just anybody here with experience like being in the same situation?




EDIT I have search google and all I find is gabapentin for benzo withdrawals. Not the other way around.
 
Mods you can combine these posts I'm just trying to get to the top of the list because I need to know if anybody has been in this situation and can help me.

Dangerous road you're considering to go there. You may just pick up a more serious habit.

Have you considered seeing your doc before you run out, telling him that you've abused the script? He may let you taper down.
 
Na he will cut me off. He did this two years ago.....I prescribed klonopin for OCD anxiety.....and when I ran out last time it covered most the symptoms but not all. Now I'm older and have dealt with more crap so IDK how my body will respond....I have been on klonopin for five years.
 
Honestly I'd just request another script. Withdrawing from Gabapentin/Pregabalin is pretty horrible, and you don't really need to go through that.

Just tell him you can't find the rest of your meds and you don't know what you've done with them.

Any proper doctor will not allow you to suffer withdrawal symptoms unnecessarily.

Yes Klonopin will ease Gabapentin withdrawals (I've used it myself when withdrawing) but that's all it does... it just eases it a little bit. But effectively going from normal Gabapentin dose to Klonopin isn't going to be nice, I'll tell you that for free.
