Will i see a decent government before i die?

Oh my goodness. Better delete the post you agree with.
Well yeah Antifa / Black Block may come for me if I agree with you 😉

The post I removed was a piss take, I put up an image from The IOT but it didn't link well so I took it down.
I assume you know who the IOT are?

Yeah, I know the IOT. Never was inclined to get close, but I know the history and of the present leadership (is it still Brigantia)?

Cool that Bill Burroughs was a member way back though.

They were going to give me membership, I filled in their question sheet & when they learned more about my "background" in DKMU & a few other groups I was blacklisted & blocked from their group forever.

Go figure.......

They always did seem a bit authoritarian.

Best quote on chaos magick is from a secondary source, but apparently David Tibet once said “if all these magicians are so great and powerful why are they all so broke and don’t have girlfriends?”

As a fan of what you may call "anarcho-libertarianism" I wonder why you want this?
If you aren't happy why not go live in China, Venezuela or North Korea if that's what "system" you want?

You do realise you are literally advocating for an extreme left wing concept, yes?

Apparently not :|

Personally I don’t believe in extreme left wing positions. I am firmly centre left.

China is an essentially capitalist economy with some authoritarian left wing elements. I am not an authoritarian.

Venezuela is essentially a dictatorship with almost zero regard for the proletariat. Again, straight-up authoritarianism. Not my bag.

North Korea is a straight up ethnostate fascist regime. Definitely not of the left.

In short, you clearly don’t have even the most basic clue about politics so stay in your Hindu wannabe lane :|

You do realise even AI disagrees with you. A cursory look by a middle school child working on a report could have told you as such.

In what world would Stalin been "left wing"

Education is key here.

Gareth Jones

The first western journalist to describe the Soviet Ukrainian famine — the Holodomor — as a man-made famine. He is often referred to as a ‘Hero of Ukraine.’

By early spring 1933, the Soviet regime had imposed a ban on foreign journalists traveling to areas affected by famine. But the fact that famine was raging in Soviet Ukraine was common knowledge in Moscow among foreign diplomats and journalists. Defying the Soviet authorities in March of 1933, Jones left his train in the afternoon of March 11th and immediately began talking to locals in the Black Earth district. He walked into Ukraine on the 12th and into Kharkiv on the 13th, walking at least 40 miles through some 20 villages and 12 collective farms talking to people, recording their voices directly in his notebook diaries, sharing food he had brought in his backpack, and sleeping on the floor of their homes. Through his written diaries about the starvation that he witnessed and directly recorded firsthand, Jones gave a voice to the farmers and villagers whose voices were being silenced by the Soviet regime, thus keeping their experiences alive and authentic. His writings provide primary source evidence derived from diary notes, newspaper articles, and personal correspondence. Jones was appalled by what he witnessed and was unafraid of speaking truth to power. After several days in the German Consulate he returned to Moscow, then left the Soviet Union for Berlin on March 29th, where he issued the press release published by many newspapers (“Famine Grips Russia, Millions Dying”) in which he wrote: “Everywhere was the cry, ‘There is no bread; we are dying.’ This cry came to me from every part of Russia*.” For this he was immediately attacked by Walter Duranty, the Moscow bureau chief of The New York Times, who infamously denied there was any famine in Ukraine. Because Jones defied Soviet propaganda and wrote truthfully about what he had witnessed firsthand, the Soviet authorities accused him of espionage, banned him from the Soviet Union, and the Soviet secret police blacklisted him. The Soviet Union denied, covered up and ignored the Holodomor, and Russian leaders continue doing the same today. The Holodomor claimed at least 4 million lives, of which 31% were children under the age of ten.

Stunning young man though. You probably can't blame the mass murder on the fact he couldn't get the girls.

The Holodomor was atrocious - almost up there with the Holocaust for human low points - but ethnic cleansing is a right wing approach to politics, not left.

The Left believes all human beings are innately equal and does not stand for any form of racism. The Holodomor - like the Holocaust - was inherently racist: Right Wing.

When it comes to authoritarian regimes they’re pretty much all right wing by definition. The Left does not force, it attempts to persuade.

The Radical/Far Left sometimes gets a lil more aggressive but that’s one of the few times I consider Horseshoe Theory to have some merit.

If you define "right wing" as racist then you are poisoning the well, and any sense of reasonable discussion fails. The fact is people on both sides of the overton window can be racist. How many times have you heard someone who is ostensibly left wing, that is to say they vote left and hold progressive views make a racist comment? I know I sure have.

In many parts of the world conservative governments are fundamentally built on principles of equality and the equal value of people.

On the comment about authoritarianism being necessarily right wing: this is intellectually dishonest and maybe you genuinely do believe it, but the past 100 years is full of examples of authoritarian left wing rule. Now if you make the move of claiming those were merely right wing states in disguise then you commit yourself to what is in essence a paradox. If a state is left wing in all realms but state control then that state becomes right wing. It'd be funny if the most progressive (but authoritarian) government was somehow right wing.

No self respecting political historian would describe the USSR as right leaning. It's okay to call the USSR mistake that killed millions while ALSO being left wing. That doesn't commit you to disagreeing with left wing politics, it just means you think THAT kind was crazy.

We need to transcend these ideals about "left wing" and "right wing". They are just labels used to group people into boxes which can then be written off if people aren't so.

Many right wing and left wing ideas work and produce goods. It's about making sure you pick the best from both and creating a future that everyone wants to live in. Avoid extremism in all its colours.

I agree with avoiding extremism but disagree on much of the rest.

Obviously regimes which were inspired by Left Wing theory have and do exist… but in essentially every case they rapidly switched to extreme authoritarianism which is inherently Right Wing.

The fact that extreme Left Wing ideals are unworkable without resorting to some version of fascism does lead us back to that one point of agreement though: extremism is to be avoided :)

EDIT: And I didn’t say - nor do I believe - that all right wing people are racist, but all racists are right wing.

but all racists are right wing.
That would be wonderful if it were only that easy.

I can think of a couple pf prominent racists that are left leaning and take it to the next level by using racism to line their pockets at the same time. No need to name names, just look carefully at the US and it will become apparent.
Racism is enjoyed by both the left and right. They just use it differently

And for the record I am not part of the right but I feel I have to speak "truth".

But is there really a substantial 'left' in the US? Maybe there is when it comes to certain social issues / identity politics, but as the US regards even moderate centrist social democracy as 'left', it's a different game altogether. I've heard some Americans describing Sweden as 'socialist'. It's a market economy.
