Will I feel this DXM?

I took half of a 5 oz Grape Delsym Bottle earlier around 10:00-10:10 PM. I converted the measurements and it added up to be around 444 mg per half bottle. I know it's "extended release" but I still haven't felt much off of it yet. Is this stuff bad for tripping on DXM or does it just take awhile? BTW, it's 11:15 PM here currently.
 
it's not uncommon for onset to be delayed by 1.5 hrs., and given the time release, peak effects should be quite delayed. At a dose of 444 mg, you should feel it for sure (even accounting for time release).

Peak effects occur at or after 2 hours for DXM HBr for me, so if you have the extended release it should take longer...I'd think you would feel something by now like ebola? said.

How are you feeling now? Did you have a full stomach upon ingestion or anything like that that would delay absorption?
 
I took 720mg in gelcaps 7 hours ago and it's only hit me the last hour or so. I had food in my stomach and I have a slow digestion system I guess (once I had to drink chalk for a medical scan and it took 6 hours to move through my system) so I am not terribly surprised. Probably going to find that I won't get a good peak. Probably digest over time instead of all at once like on an empty stomach.
 
It is now 2-2.5 hours since I've taken it and I'm feeling slight effects. I'm feeling pretty relaxed right now, but not relaxed enough. It feels comfortable to look around the room, but I'm not tripping. I also have an Ocean Lab Pandora Radio station going right now. I'll keep you blades posted.
 
I agree... I use to take Delsym, although a larger dose... and you never get the feeling of a peak like you do with the hydrobromide. It is however I nice cheap extended opiate type buzz that you can function usually function normally on.
 
The strange thing is, I felt more after effects than the real effects themself. I woke up and attempted to look around the room and sure enough I couldn't focus on shit, the room felt like it was spinning, I still have this Adderall-like-Euphoria still going strong.
 
If you want a good trip, mix your dose 50/50 or 60/40 with Robitussin (DXMHbr). It will give you the good feeling peak that you want, and it will last longer than the typical DEXaThon....Sometimes 12 hrs...
