over the course of six years, i have used practically every opiate, heroin, fentanyl, alpha-methyl fentanyl, all the mainstream pharms except dilaudid, poppy tea, methadone, buprenorphine, and so forth. i've gotten myself addicted a few times and managed to get off but never really stop using, but i've noticed that no matter how long i wait between using, weak opiates even in high doses barely feel like anything - like i'll try a pretty big dose of poppy seed tea or, like, 800 mg of tramadol (i know about the seizure risk, but i take clonazepam with it and have never had a problem.)
....so i'm wondering from people who are opiate veterans, can you ever enjoy weak opiates again? is it a function of time or am i just doomed? if it's relevant, i was never an IV user, and my stints with the strong opiates were pretty short-lived (although i wish they were longer.)
