Will heat reduce adderall potency?

I recently filled my adderall script but didn't want to bring it inside while others were in the house, so I left it in the trunk. When I got it out around 4 the bottle was hot to the touch. Does anyone know if it will have lost potency? It is my understanding that heat can damage many medications such as Valium.

If it were for an extended period the pills could start to degrade. But if it was only for a short while I would think they are unchanged.

Thanks for letting me know, would you consider 4 hours a short time? Visually the pills appear unchanged and they seem to be effective buts it's hard to judge because I've taken over a month break from them.
