They're both dopaminergic. Should have an added slight boost of euphoria.

I usually try to take my 30 mg dose with a red bull. To me it enhances my high.

I always take opiates with caffeine. Actually, I always take everything with caffeine. Never had problems with synergy, it's always a great high.

Caffeine is a commonly used cutting agent for #3 heroin, don't count on it killing your high 
. I've heard that caffeine increases the rush of smoked heroin and that's why it's used with freebase heroin, could be dealer talk though. Not sure how active smoked caffeine is. Either way it's not unsafe to mix the two but taking caffeine on top of your dose of hydro with the hopes of sobering up is a fruitless effort, may even backfire.
