Misc will anything help decrease amphetamine or benzo tolerance?

ibogaine can reduce tolerance to opioids. NMDA antagonists may work for benzo tolerance. I'm not sure about amphetamine though.

Yeah. You should consider taking a break from the amphetamines and you can continue on the benzos. The amphetamines make the benzos alot less effective. You should be able to take less. I would try cutting back .5mg on the benzos or up to 1mg depending on how much you take. Then go back up to your old dose and it will work a lot better.

You should consider taking less rather then taking a break. Give your gaba receptors a break.

I could probably help answer this question better if you told us what benzos you take and at what dose and how long youve been taking them for. If you were looking for a short term solution though, opiates would make you feel them more. Dont take anything to strong with them.

Oh that's a good point, there are some things that potentate other drugs, meaning that when you take them you can effectively get stronger effects by taking your usual amount. They don't actually reduce tolerance per se though, as once their effects wear off you are left with your usual tolerance. There are several long threads here about drug potentiators (sp?) or potentiation, see if there's one for amphetamines or benzos. Most of the potentiating substances are other drugs, but there are a few mild potentiators that are available over the counter or are vitamins, fruits, etc.

EDIT: and be extremely careful when combining drugs, for example if you take opiates with benzos (not that I recommend doing this! I lost half a day of my memory this way). Take way less than you normally would of each drug and read up on the possible complications and side effects. Overdose and side effects are also potentiated.
