Wii, Xbox360 or PS3.....

HA, I haven't seen that show in a minute..

Is there any sort of conversation about another generation of systems? Or are the PS3, Xbox360 and Wii pretty much as advanced as we're going to get for now?

fantastic. thanks for the link bro. :)

Man, they're really talking that up.
Being a nintendo-tard, that article really leaves me hoping for greatness..

One issue with the xbox360 which I find laughable, is that it still doesn't fully support streamed matroska files (h/x.264), but AVI, DIVX and WMV are fine and play flawlessly.

No worries man,

Yea, I'm in the same boat, going to keep a close eye on it :)

Meh, I just hook up my laptop to my tv via HDMI and let the good times roll.

I've had a Wii for awhile, and recently decided that it was about time I grabbed an Xbox 360 or a PS3. Did a bunch of research on the differences between the two, and here's the verdict, the way I see it:

PS3 -- Go with this console if you're looking for great single-player campaigns / adventures.

Xbox 360 -- Multiplayer, either local or online, is where this console seems to shine.

Of course, I'm just comparing the game libraries themselves. If you're concerned with peripheral features then YMMV.

I ultimately decided on the Xbox 360, considering that I'll probably be spending a lot of time playing with friends.

^ PS3 has multiplayer games. Granted it does seem like Xbox has a lot more... Just figured I'd throw this out there so the OP (or anyone else :P) doesn't think that PS3 only has single-player games.

^ Right. Those are just some minor advantages that each system has over the other. Both systems have lots of single player and multiplayer games, for sure.

if you download a free program called tversity you can stream mkv's to your xbox :D

no way, it's PS3 all the way, for these simple reasons:

^ Ahaha, yes. LBP = <3 Seriously though, if you enjoyed Mario as a child, check out LittleBigPlanet--Fun stuff. :D

That reminds me a lot of a movie that was playing in the background on my TV the other day; it was called "9". Any link between them? Too lazy to google, atm.

"A rag doll that awakens in a post-apocalyptic future holds the key to humanity's salvation."? Lmao, no. :P You gave me a movie to see sometime though. :D

xbox 360 - Better online play and better first-person shooters.

Though I'd choose PC over an console, if I could.
Less corporate control, more open source, and you don't get outdated every 2 years.
