For years I have fantasised about my wife having sex with another man. Discuss the possible issues that may arise, among them being jealousy and STI/pregnancy risk.

Be patient. Ease her into it and work your way up. This will give her time to adjust.

Why don't you try acting out her porn fantasy? Make it about her before you make it about you so she can hopefully be more appreciative and understanding about it.
 
Another option is the two of you go to a swingers club. There is very little pressure to swap.
My wife and i go 2 or 3 times a year. Never swap, just enjoying watching and being watched.

Just remember, you can never unswap. What begins as a rather common fantasy has probably ruined countless relationships.
 
It always helps to step back and try to look at the situation from her perspective. You mentioned she was shy too. This sounds like it could take some very smooth talking on your part, or relentless I'll-just-try-wear-her-down type pestering, or a combination of both.

There's also the risk of her taking it the wrong way, like her thinking she isn't fulfilling your sexual needs adequately.

I dunno man, I think this is a potential mine-field.

Not really sure why you're describing your wife like a bonsai tree on Craigslist...
 
Be sure that's what u want! Once you do something like that you can't undo it. Make sure it won't bother you after the fact!
 
You never know how it will go when your wife gets with another man. You may find it great and arousing. Or you may find that your wife moans, or just seemed to enjoy it more with that person then she does with you and that can be pretty hard to swallow. You can not un-do this if you go through with it. Also, I've heard that once you allow your wife/husband to sleep with somebody else (in your presence) then they will think it isn't as big of a deal if they cheat on you when you are not present. So it's hard to say.

I agree. If one is still so immature that he describes his wife like someone would describe his car when trying to sell it and the other gets ashamed of getting caught watching porn by her husband there is a lot to do before even bringing out fantasies involving other people.
