Heroin wierd reaction to heroin iv

iv heroin like always her usual five bags. She is running very low on veins. She has been using her hands now for about a year. Shooting up for three years all together. She shot up like normal and for the first time ever felt it threw her neck and chest like it missed. But swim didnt miss by her hand. It felt like the reaction of missing but through her neck and chest and she even got a red spot on her chest right in the middle (like the whole in the middle chest) PLEASE HELP what is this?!?!?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the feeling in the neck and chest when you miss. I've never missed, but thought it just burnt in the spot where you shot it, and then the high came on over a few minutes. I know that when you hit you feel the rush in your chest so I'm not sure what you mean about when you miss.

It wasn't like the rush it was like painful burning tingling. And exactly if u miss, you feel it at the site of injection.

And why would a miss cause non local (to the injection site) sensations? Whole point of a miss is that you basically muscled/SQd it and it doesn't quickly flow through the body.

Sativa,Thank you! Now that you say that, it makes sense cause everything is fine now. At the second it happened, i thought it was a bad batch cause i literally felt it threw my neck and chest and was like its going to my heart im dead lol so thank u! Scariest experience shooting dope all these years!

It sounds like you got morphine or some other cut in your dope that caused a histamine release.

Through years of experience a miss would hurt at the site where you missed not elsewhere so I would have to agree with aboive and say its an allergic reaction but if your still worried see your gp!

For as long as she has been shooting (and though allergies can develop at any time) it is highly doubtful it is an allergic reaction to the needle. If it happens next time also I guess it is a possibility. It is much much more likely as others said that it is something that it was cut with.

it kind of sounds like you could of hit an artery... .. the radial artery, ulnar artery are large ones that run on opposite sides, one on the top of the outer side of the wrist and the one on the inner side. both loop into the superficial palmar artery that runs across/over the top of the hand and also is large.

If she'd hit an artery her hands/arm would have swollen up like a balloon.
