Why?

Why are we here? What is our purpose? to fufill our life with happiness? To be prosporous. What about those who live their life, and look back and say..." I should have done, Or i could have done, but I didnt."
Are they but mere failures? you only get one chance. One life. The question "why are we here" has come across my mind, many times. but still i am left puzzled and in wonderment.... and what about the future? After our one chance is over, where do we go from there? Heaven? Hell? something completly different? How are we to know?
We can't.
Our minds can not comprehend death. But why? i am so full of questions. I dont know where to go for my answers. There is always God. I believe in God, but ever so often the question rises... Is there really even a God? A higher power who is watching over his children, loving them, caring for them.
I don't know the answers to my questions
No one seems to want to even attempt.

Why ask why? I believed in god before but my problem with religion is the suffering that goes on every day in this world. If there is a god why would he let innocent people die? I try not to think of it too much tho I gotta deal with day to day bs.
