(This is a poem to my boyfriend. We have been together for 4 years. I don't want to be with him anymore and am deciding on whether or not to leave him.)
Why?
Why did you treat me the way that you did?
You played me and hurt me while I carried your kid.
Why didn't you realize my love was true?
I went out of my way to be there for you.
Why did you crush my emotions that way?
I stood by your side as you continued to stray.
Why is it still hard for me to say good-bye?
You hurt me, lied to me, and made me cry.
Why do I still love you?
