I was just doing the Compare People thing on Facebook and got "Who would you rather kiss?" between Potato and my brother, which was pretty funny.

I just spent the last couple of hours tearing my hair out thinking the roos were gonna loose.

But

I received an email from Safeway calling me back for a second interview for a Nightfill position. This job would fit in so well with my plans for study and the store is literally two blocks away from my house. Interviews on Wednesday. Fingers crossed.

It would be a massive slap in the face to get knocked back. Imagine not even meeting Safeway's employment standards. :\

I have another interview on Tuesday too, for an admin position at some college for doctors but I don't expect to get it, nor do I even want it now. But I'll go along in preparation for my mega important Safeway interview.

Just found out my cousin is engaged. Him and his girlfriend (now fiancee) had their son about a month ago. Those two will make great parents. A cousin on the other side of my family had her son last week, though her circumstances aren't nearly as happy. But the father moved in with her so hopefully he'll pitch in (he's really bad news), and isn't just using her for a free place to stay.

^I have my precious drum once again in my posession. :D We've spent many a moonlit night together wailing around a campfire and contributing to a musical chorus of acoustic guitar and drums. I'm so happy to have her home again.

Also, I spent time with my beautiful family back in my home-town over the weekend - something which is always smile-worthy.
I spent some time photographing the backyard enveloped in mid-afternoon golden rays:

^Ah, the tranquility of country-living. I love my parent's garden. :)

I've been daydreaming about what life will be like in a few months having one of my best friends who is too far away right now, in same city as me!!! BIG :)'s <3

Also have decided to get a bloody haircut that looks different on me, this weekend! I honestly don't care if i come out looking hideous, i just want a change. And they say change is as good as a holiday :D I don't think they are refering to haircuts but meh, it's the easiest thing to change at the moment.

I'm also edging further and further toward the decision to seriously look for another job, hopefully one that pays as good as this one! It's kind of scary though as i'm comfortable here, and i have no idea what else i would be good at. But i am DYING to do something else, something more me. I feel like i'm a chicken on a slow cooking rotisserie just simmering gently until they all decide to eat me! I'd rather be a blooming flower of the industry! (still not sure what industry but i definetely want to be blooming, not simmering)

And my partner and i are organising a trip to Thailand at the end of the year/start of next year too!! My first time on an airoplane at 22 yrs old %) oh dear.

Yay for [minorish] plans that'l change my life for the better =D Even if they aren't in fruition yet, it's making me smile.

my boy has an interview this week for a job that pays about $20k more than he's on now.

he really likes his current job and isn't even sure if he'd take the new one if offered it, but it's a cool thing to have people call you up out of the blue because of your reputation in the industry :)

^ Wow that's awesome news! His lucky - actually, most likely deserving but it's still uber cool to be in such a position :)

*hopes to be there one day* lol

^Haha, I'm so with you babe. I was 23. ;)

My smile comes from my best girlfriend in the whole world. She sent me a list of reasons as to why I should buy myself a pair of Sass and Bide jeans. THIS is what true friends are for. :D

I got an A in Human Physiology, just barely. But an A is an A, I was dreading this exam, but I got absolutely soaked in a rainstorm walking from the exam across campus to my car. One more final to go.

I might know a Radiologist whose interested in taking me on as a job shadower, this would be a huuugeeee addition to my med app.

Oh and I'm probably getting a haircut too in the next week or so, it's so needed. My hair is totally damaged and destroyed, but personally I like the dirtbag look, but it doesn't look very professional which is a problem.

Also on the haircut thing, cutting your hair is a huge symbol for change, especially in Buddhism. It signifies new beginnings.
