You haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face for the past week, but today I've been smiling so much my face has almost cracked on numerous occasions.
So much goodness packed into one day, but here's two examples of big smiles:
When I arrived at work I found a bottle of perfume on my desk. I commented and a lady I work next to explained she'd bought it for herself and like a lot of things she buys, she later decided it was 'too young' for her to use - and she asked me if I wanted it.
I took the lid off and had a sniff and it was the most beautiful subtle floral and musk scent - very me. I thanked her and put it in my bag after giving myself a spray.
I looked it up online and found the 100ml bottle she gave me retails for $115-.
To top off a pretty damn perfect grin-ful day as I was driving I noticed a young man standing on the side of the road with a Japanese sword strapped to his back. He was dressed all in black and had his head bowed and was standing right before a pedestrian crossing.
I watched the two cars in front of me scream past him, not slowing at all, but when I approched I slowed and came to a stop. He heard me, lifted his head and started walking across the road while giving me the biggest most genuine smile I've seen in a while. It was lovely.
