Why? Very unpleastaNT HIGH ON GABAPENTIN

I tell you that I love gaba but today I took 16000 mg at once and I feel very weird. Like unpleasently weird......I have been taking gaba for awhile bur today I think it turned on me. If I still keep feeling like this I will end up not taking it anymore.
 
^How much?? That's s pretty large dose man. No wonder your not feeling great. I'd say youve built your tolerance & could potentially black out randomly given what you're taking.

Your dose is the highest I've ever heard anyone claim to use. If you have a tolerance it is definitely possible that you've lost the ability to feel any euphoria regardless of dose when taking gabapentin. Not to mention the side effects that could come with a dose like that, it could be compared to taking a megadose of adderall and complaining about anxiety. I'd steer away from doses anywhere close to that, I would also consider that gabapentin's bioavailibity is close to an even downward slope once you reach a certain point. I've seen data that would suggest that the most a person could absorb at once would be with a single dose of 3600mg, and after that bioavailability would go down to the point that the more you took the less you would intake. Be careful and research your actions prior to taking them.
 
I literally just started playing with gabapentin this week but damn dude. 1600mg was enough to make me feel uncomfortably out-of-it. I can't imagine a dose an order of magnitude higher...
 
Wow, 16000 is just insane, I'm truly not trying to be a b!$@ but sweetie, gaba is known to have very serious side effects, seizures being the worst, on top of that people who use Neurontin (Gabapentin) for long periods end up with some severe issues in the long run.
 
^Such as? I took it for years, medicinally though, before switching to pregabalin. I'm under the impression that these are very safe drugs. Not in the OPs insane amounts though.

Read up on Gabapentin, do your research & you'll see what I'm talking about when I said severe issues in the long run. Its great that u switched to pregabalin! Keep me posted on how you're doing.. :-)

lol, what are those severe issues? I am scripted 900/MG/day but usually abuse it and will take up to 3000MG/day. but will only use them for 15 days out of the month and have to wait till I fill my next script; I've been doing this for a long time and have no "issues" yet. but wondering what

just googled it and read the usual negatives reviews that any drug may have, but its nothing out of the norm. wouldnt worry too much if its not already a negative on your life.
 
Before that day i took 12000. I felt like the first time on gaba so me being me i did a dose like that and boy did it suck. All I had to do was eat but later when i would wake up in the morning i felt like crap.
 
I was always under the impression taking anything above 3kMG is a waste; am I wrong here? cuz even when I take 3200MG I get NOTHING nowadays, so should I TRY and take more? I am only scripted 900MG/night but dont mind just blowing through it all. scripted it for sleep but need it really.
