why they call it rolling

Well, my first roll was in 1999. I always thought that the rolling feeling of pleasure was why. Like waves rolling over you.

Surprised by the amount of ravers here that actually dont know why it's called rolls/rolling. Apparently back in the day, ecstasy pills were hidden in tootsie rolls. They would even sometimes melt the tootsie roll, stick some ecstasy, and reroll it. I am almost positive it has to do with the way that the drug was smuggled and hidden with candy wrappers... I remember reading about this a long time ago... wish I could find my sources again.

I'm surprised at how right you think you are and how wrong you actually are.

I have never heard of this tootsie roll and I know for a fact when they caught on and started busting german and dutch nationals at the orlando airport around 99' they just had a bunch of pills in bags packed in false compartments of luggage. At that time Orlando was a big transit point because Europians could pass themselves off as tourists(with Disney and all the themeparks) but it was always called rolling and the pills were rolls or beans. I think it is because of the rolling body sensations or your eyes would always roll around and flutter.

damn turnupboss you must have been digging deep to find this gem. All this rolling talk has gotten me feeling jittery. i think its time to roll again, its been about a year now.

Anyways iv'e always heard of the term rolling being referred to as the ups and downs of the high. Which if you look at a sine wave, it looks like its going up and down a hill but really its just rotating(rolling). Thats what is seems like to me

When I used to roll, I would get super-high, then it would fade a bit, then I would be SUPER HIGH again and it would fade...I always figured that it was called rolling because it felt like a rollercoaster in the highs and lows! In recent years I haven't had that affect though, so it's difficult to say...

Stop, drop and roll.

Rolling is such a good term to use. The pills themselves roll around too. Just give them a push and they'll be on their way.

Your eyes can roll around. It's a smooth roll, felt from top to bottom then back again.

It can come in waves too. You'd feel high as a kite, then back to earth and then up again. Or high, then higher, then just high again.

I miss rolling badly. I'd roll down a small hill to get that magic back again.
