Why the science doesn't match the reality

Finally signed up, love this site as any of you who've ever tried to talk about opiates will know that GPs & most drug workers have only read books that bear bugger all to what it's actually like to use/ abuse (depending on your view) the reality of drug use is very different, my mah's go doesn't understand how I stand up let alone speak on my basic script. I hope I can be of use coz I know my shit. I'm a trained pharmacist but i spent 10yrs on just h and crack Amongst others so ask away.

Welcome to BL. Know what you mean about the doc's. It can be really frustrating at times because we as actual drug users, know that the reality of things and how the textbooks describe it is not the same.
