Why the hell is it so hard to get syringes?

I am a newish IV user since my PM doctor dropped me for losing my meds (husband stole them). Now I need to make my stuff last since I hardly have anything left and can't find a doctor that will take my MS, transverse myelitis, and CRSD seriously since I'm so young. I can't even shave my legs or shower in the morning and am mostly bed ridden.
Anyway, my husband and I went into 12 different pharmacies looking for syringes for a family member and even brought in an empty bag of 31g 5/16 1cc insulin syringes. Everyone treated us like garbage while my fictional dad wasn't going to be able to take his insulin before dinner since he is our of syringes and is waiting for his usual supply to come in the mail. I asked each pharmacist what they reccomend I should do, and they all told me to go to a different pharmacy. One even lied to me and said he didn't have that size and length and I could only use one particular needle for the insulin, what a dick.

I am ranting, but also asking what the hell I should do! Thanks !!

Yeah I know a few I can get them at around where I live but most won't sell them. It's not even illegal in CT to sell them. I don't understand why selling clean syringes in single to anyone is even something questionable. Easy access to cheap steril syringes is a very good thing for society. It's not like making them hard to obtain stops people from using heroin. I doubt many people started shooting as a direct result of easy access to rigs.

I just had to go on amazon, got a nifty reusable tourniquet too. I never had this issue a few years back, but now that this is a daily thing I need a good supply. I got the Easy Touch ones, I hope they aren't too bad. Another question: Got pulled over the other night, husband was driving, had a warrant, they searched the car but not my backpack thank god. If they did, and found my rigs, would I have serious repercussions?
Thanks

Yeah it's possible, if the cop found evidence of drug use (is that all you had in your backpack?)

My friend is a diabetic and legitimately needs the syringes. He had gotten his insulin prescription from CVS but they refused to sell him syringes. How anal is that? He was really suffering too and the nurse at the shelter where I worked gave him some until the doctor could write a proper script for them.

If the syringes arent used then they are legal. However I would not keep the needles and my prescription opiates anywhere near each other. Also if you need needles I would hit up wal-mart and ask for a box of 100 I live in Alabama and that always works for me.

^ Yup Walmart is the best place for getting syringes in my experience as they are way cheaper then other pharmacies on syringes and just about everything else as well. They don't give a fuck either Ive bought swabs, syringes, sterile water, coffee filters, and APAP with codeine all in one go at the same pharmacy lol. And no i was not dumb enough to shoot codeine i just had those because the shits good for headaches and to get the sick off when i can't get anything better.

Thankfully Ive never been turned down for syringes anywhere in Canada. it seems no fucking place here stocks 31 gauge syringes though so i always use 30 gauge short tips.

I hope you find a new PM doctor! Your first question has been resolved and we don't do legal questions. What a cop would do if he found the syringes totally depends on that particular cop, where you live, and the surrounding circumstances. Sorry. Going to close this. PM me if you have any questions.
