Why so many fake pills on East Coast

I know that it is harder to get the precursors to mdma, but in other parts of the country it seems its still around. I also know that because its easier to get piperazines and because many people may never have taken real mdma do not know the difference between tripping and rolling they think they are rolling and want to buy the same bad pipes again, but can that be the only reason? Does anyone think that this slump for the past couple of months will go away and real pills will come back. Its really annoying. I have never really had a problem get real stuff, but for the last two months over and over again fake after fake.

Lets face it, from a dealers point of view - If you can buy 100 pips for half the price of 100 MDxx pills and still be able to sell them then ....

Said he was rolling hard, teeth clenching, eurphoria, dialated pupils. I test one of the pills and turns out theres no mdma in them at all. Its a purple g lady and there are tons of reports on pr and no one experienced what he said. As I stated before people just don't know what rolling is.

Maybe find some molly?? But then again, molly can be just as shitty and a higher chance its cut with something. At least with pressed pills you have pillreports to lean on but with molly a test kit is pretty much necessary...

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who can get molly or moonrocks. I also don't think theres enough people out there who are going to consistently test their pills. Maybe dealers are just holding out till warmer weather comes. Who knows.

Dogg that was a methylone pill. Methylone tests red-brown on a Mecke reagent, not blue-black. The NE has been flooded with methylone pills, and people test them with reagents and think they're pipes. I know for a fact that at least some of the purple G-ladies are methylone, not pipes.

I came across some powder methylone last weekend (given to me as "molly"), tested it with Mecke, confirmed the substance ID, and then ate some ... I had a blast. I would've had difficulty differentiating it from an MDMA roll, in fact. I had euphoria, sensitization, eye wiggles, jaw clenching, dilated pupils, the whole enchilada (although it was a bit less puppies-and-unicorns lovey-dovey than MDMA is). And the purple G-ladies that have been EVERYWHERE around the NE recently have had people satisfied and coming back for more, like your friend, because methylone is actually pretty close to MDMA in terms of the subjective experience people have on it (not identical, but plenty of people can't tell the difference, and having eaten it myself, I can see why).

Personally I think the reason there's been so many "fake" pills in the NE (and it's true that I haven't seen a pure MDMA pill in the NE in 6 months, but people are still definitely eating pills) is because there's someone in this area making methylone, and pressing pills out of it (as well as selling it as "powder molly"). It's showing up all over the place.

As far as I know you need MECKE reagent to correctly identify methylone, not Marquis. It tests red-brown. It's a fun substance in its own right (maybe a B+ grade compared to pure MDMA), and from what I've read and understand it's actually slightly easier on the brain and body than MDMA (when I took it, I felt like a million bucks the next day, absolutely no hangover whatsoever, aside from jaw soreness ... my jaw clenching was worse than it's ever been), so it doesn't bring the potential health complications and drastically shitty comedowns of pipes.

If you are in the NE and you have a non-Mecke test kit, get a Mecke reagent kit. It will help you identify the methylone that's been running around. There's a LOT of it.

According to some reports methylone should turn yellow with marquis. This had no reaction so I doubt these contain methylone. However if they do I would be happier than if they had pipes in them. Also I get that pipes are cheaper so dealer make more of a profit, but I mean if I wanted mushrooms, lsd, cocaine, ketamine, and someone could get that I highly doubt someone would pass of fake drugs as real drugs. Why not just sell pipes cheaper and real mdma more expensive. Make two different categories, people who actually like and want pipes can buy them and people who want real mdma can get that.

^^^ ya i wish it was like that as well. Finding actual good, mdma pills is really difficult for me in the NW even. I'd happily pay 20 a pill for a good one, over so many of the $5 okay non-mdma pills that i run into all the time.

Well that about sums it up. I tried explaining to my cousin how these are pipes and not mdma cause I tested them and he said I don't care about what the test kit says, that s*#t's so gay. He said he took one and was rolling hard. I guess the younger generation is going to keep buying fake pills, getting fucked up on them, but not know what real mdma feels like and were stuck with bunk stuff.

Alright. Since I have been having trouble getting real stuff, I decided its time to see what all the fuss is with piperazines. Well now I know why they are garbage. Very uncommfortable feeling all over. I felt like I was tweeking and really alert, but also like I was on shrooms or lsd. Why anyone would actually seek out a pill like this is beyond me. I am never consuming a pill again that does not test positive for mdxx. Thank god I only took one. If I took two I can guarantee I would have went to the hospital.

The market is dry on the east coast because the demand for the supply is extremely low.
A strong rave scene creates a stronger demand, but the east coast promoters aren't united like they used to be, and therefore there are less parties being thrown compared to how it was a decade ago.

I definitely agree that parties aren't like they used to be ten years ago, but I still think the demand is high. The problem is all the new kids to the scene don't know mdma really is and if they get really fucked up on some other crap they think there rolling. Oh well. It really looks like the mdma in pill scene, at least on the east coast is dead for now.

Really depressing cause west coast seems to be in supply all the time, but east coast is ew.

quazzar, you did sum it up, sounds like your cuz is the reason it will be more pipes and M1 for the east coast. Alot of crazed noob, wannabe gangster-hippie, elite idiot drug consumers are messing the whole market up. I see it when I go to fests on the east coast. (sorry, stereotyping) It happens everywhere but when you hit the east coast it takes on a certain vibe. The people there are more rude by nature, they don't care about each other as much as other regions of our country. They will do anything, say anything to get what they want. It is a disease over there. I hope you find a connect. I would go with molly cuz it is a bit easier to know if it is real with a mecke or not.

AMEN!!! I was a top promoter 10+ yrs ago and I totally agree with that!!! Many of these kids have never even had a legit roll in their life!! Its all about making $$ no matter what is in the pill!!
That said: look out for caps called yellowjackets in NE.........blk and yellow caps...when u see them,you'll know it. Grab ur gf,bf,wife,etc throw on some sik beats and HAVE FUN LIKE 1998-99!!!!! LOL

so many noobs it makes me sad ive had a nice connect for a while now... no complaints. ive offered to test molly/pills going around at my university for free. 20+ tests. 0 positive mdma results. 50% deny the results (lol) the other 50% are in shock. The combination of denial and misinformation is killing what little scene there is here...

The lamest story i have is a friend of a friend who just got into it a couple months ago. I offered to test his caps that his other friend was getting "online". Granted, there are illegal vendors online so i gave him the benefit of the doubt and still let the test kit do its job. Mephedrone. He told me I was wrong and just trying to be an elitist. Showed him test results in person. Still didn't believe me, said I used different molly to get those results. haven't seen or talked to him since.

There's dumb, and then there's REALLY dumb ... and straight up denying test results is just unforgivably stupid. I mean, damn.

It is kind of shocking, though, that you're 0 for 20+ even when "molly" powder is involved. You'd think at least a couple of them might have actually gotten lucky once or twice, it's not like real MDMA powder is absent from the East coast the way real MDMA pills are.
