I was one of the few unlucky who took a tab containing PMMA, it was this exact pill, in that color (i have seen these pills in other colors as well):

Before taking it i didn't know what was in it, nor did i know about the warnings. I had a whole one and so did friends of mine, or at least a half one. These pills did feel slightly different and they came up rather quick, within 20 minutes. We did not all feel the same but we all agreed this was not just MDMA but probably mixed with pipes or something, it happens and we are stupid enough not to test so we can only blame ourselves. What followed was a heavy trip, which actually, was pretty enjoyable to be honest.
After a couple hours we sat down to discuss effects. Heavy visuals (triangleview, when whatever you look at is made of dots or triangles) and intense sweating but most importantly problems to orientate (not being able to feel if you are tilted or angled). In the end we had a good time so we didn't discuss much about it and agreed it must be some MDA added to it.
We all have had our fair share of MDMA so we know what it feels like and have had several bad comedowns before, but nothing like this one. I had one friend of mine ring me up the next morning asking me how i felt, at this moment i didn't feel too bad - yet, but my friend was absolutely thinking he was about to die. We went out with 6 people total, and only me and my friend felt bad the others didnt feel much at all except the MDMA comedown.
That night i couldn't sleep, i started sweating for no reason (i was perfectly calm) and all the sudden out of nowhere extreme nausea came up. It got to the point i had to throw up, but i couldn't, my body was rejecting. I had extreme anxiety, depression and i could literally start crying at any point of the day. If that wasn't bad enough, i started to have serious cramps in my stumach. I could feel my inside rolling about, so to speak. This lasted for 5 days and i can easily say this particular comedown was the worst i have had in my life, in fact it was the worst time of my life by miles. It does not compare to any MDMA comedown whatsoever, and i had many before, mild and some nasty ones.
I could go on and on about that week and how shitty I've felt. If you ever come across a press with PMMA, tell your dealer he is a piece of shit and get rid of those pills immediately. So, to answer your question: PMMA delivers a cheap, hard bang for your buck that might feel like MDMA, and that's the reason chemists add it to their pills when they do not have enough genuine ingredients.
