An infinate sky brings questions of infinate why.
Answers to which will be found after we die.
So why wonder, and why wonder why?
The sky thunders, while lightening plunders the sky.
A storm symbolic of a Creator's wrath,
disappointed by our chosen path.
I missed the ship to this artificially blissful abyss.
The myst blurs the ruckus in which we exist.
And since we've switched from a Biblical influence,
we've been brought up to think that we were meant for this.
It seems we've forgotten our Basic Instructions.
Somehow we let the be replaces with destruction.
We live by morals that are plainly disgusting
based on the fear when we're faced with mistrusting.
PLUR is the only true way to live.
It's the solution to free ourselves and save our kids.
Peace; simply because war is sin.
Love is why we are, and where we begin.
Unity; the only way to fight the opressor.
Respect allows us to prosper together.

(peaceful protests against the US government have been broken up w/violnence, the 60s!).

(some people don't deserve respect, with respect comes trust and trusting some people overrides peace)
hmm, it's a nice thought, but, as a realist, there's not possible way for it to actually happen, so i can't agree.
other than that, you're a very talented poet and i hope you keep posting.

I meant those lines as a reason for PLUR, not a way to reach PLUR. The poem is really about why a life based on PLUR would work. Hence the title, Why PLUR?
the line about Unity means that unity is what causes revolutions. There have been millions of successful (and eventually corrupted) revolutions, some of which bloodless. None of them would have existed without unity.
As far as respect, respecting one another in turn goes along with deserving respect.
I do understand what you're saying, and thank you for the feedback.
However I believe PLUR can be acheived, although not on a worldwide, governmental level.. but fuck it, who cares?
The world was perfect when God created it, Adam and Eve lived in PLUR... (if you believe in the BIBLE, which i do in this respect.. even as fiction/philosophy)
It can be reached even on an individual level. if you really want it.

i do belive in the bible and that what god offered was ina sence "PLUR" adam and eve lived in PLUR but then sin has since destroyed the bliss we are offered...wicked peom, you have talent

i just hope i'm getting my point across..
i want you all to see that the examples given in the Bible show that life should only exist in PLUR, God wants it that way and has shown us it works.
Even with the overwhelming amount of sin, and society based on sin, PLUR is still the answer.
Use the corrupt system we're forced to be brought up on, but don't let it corrupt you. Live your life based on the values God want you to live by. Don't judge one another, teach others but don't force anything on them, pass PLUR on to your children and one day we (or they) will unite and create a Utopia... ok maybe not... but it's a nice thought to live your life by eh?
