I think it has to do with the fact that once any mention of consuming these comes out then it becomes illegal. These chemicals are legal to possess because they have various uses, are being researched, and aren't known about really.

If places were saying "eat this pill because it gets you high" then people have to start researching and saying what is in them. Once the FDA/DEA gets wind that these magical trip pills are actually research chemicals that are very illegal to ingest, but no possess, they will go after whoever is manufacturing these pills.

Just my guess of why it doesn't happen, as I feel something similar happened with JWH-018 and spices/K2 blends.

Everything in TIHKAL and PIHKAL are Class A, including 4-meo and 5-meo (4-meo-mipt/5-meo-dmt for example) substituted chems.

ah, I didn't realise that literally everything listed in there was class A The british government really are worse than I thought.

I wasn't thinking 5-meo-dalt because it's a completely useless compound.

Nah, they get round this by labelling products as plant feeder, bath salts, incense or similar.

Mushies are now illegal in Amsterdam but magic truffles are still widely available. These contain psilocybin so the high is the same. Was there in December so speaking from experience!
