Why isn't Kratom more popular? Legal, Natural Opioid

I ask people @ party's if they want some Kratom and they are like "huh? wha?"

It's better than/more euphoric than Vicodin and you can nod off it easily. The only problem is scarfing down all that nasty plant material.

I guess people just don't think that anything legal is worth it. 8)

It's every opiate lover's best kept secret right now. Once it gets more exposure to the media/general public the party's over. And when that day comes I'll be digging into my savings account to purchase several years' supply.
 
For people with no tolerance, Kratom has the potential to be semi-enjoyable. For anyone with any sort of tolerance, though, it is rare that kratom produces any kind of worthwhile high. It isn't quite the same as vicoden or other traditional opiates, I believe it targets some other various receptors, as well.. Kratom isn't my forte though so someone with more Kratom knowledge will be able to answer better.

I personally have never gotten anything from it, nor anyone I know personally. I have read anecdotal reports of positive experiences on the internet, though. Also, since there are so many different kinds of extracts/leaves/preparations/etc, it is also very hit or miss I would assume.

If it works for you though, that's great and no need to advance further up the opiate ladder. The higher you go, the farther the fall.
 
I bought 3 grams of kratom a few weeks back & still havent tried it & dont really know when I will get around to trying it.
 
its not that popular because its more of last resort sort of drug. people would rater spend their money on more euphoric drugs. thats how i feel at least.
 
this sounds like more work than its worth? Is there allot of grinding, or soaking involved? Its probably like like poppy tea i guess huh...its easy to get dried poppy and legal to posses. I have tried everything, so i might as well giv this a try as well. i have a good tolerance for opiates, i Iv 30mg morphine or oxycodone 3-4 times a week, with 3-4 day brakes to keep it moderate.
 
You can make tea from kratom, or they have extracts and shit which you can simply just eat orally. Not sure how tasty that is, but i dont think it is as much work as poppy pod tea. If you shot morphine I am not sure ifyou will get anything spectacular out f kratom, but your tolerance isn't insane, so it would be worth a shot.

Kratom is apparently succesffuly used by many when they try and taper off of stronger opiods. Doesn't get them high, but helps with withdrawal eviently. Never used it myself, so I can't really attest to it. Sometimes I run out of methadone early though, so it mya be something i would consider if I could find out what th ebest shit is to use. My tolerance is very high.
 
because if you really love opiates and live close to the border or in any big city you can get the real thing for much cheaper in about ten minutes assuming you know who to call. I think real hardcore opiate addicts don't want to wait for the mailman for their drug, it's the instant gratification that gets people hooked on the harder stuff and once you get used to that it's hard to go back.

personally I've never tried kratom but I've heard good things about it, I'd like to try it someday I'm just afraid I've been spoiled by now. plus I'm on subs and I know that opiates are a dead end as a lifestyle choice... yet here I am...

I used to be into poppy tea and was told not to bother with kratom because it wouldn't be worth it, it sounds a bit like tramadol which I like, I'll give it a try one of these days.

I've also heard some withdrawal horror stories regarding kratom, and for me withdrawals from poppy tea were what lead me to H and introduced me into that nightmarish scene. Opiates always just lead to more Opiates in my experience, legal or illegal.
 
hmmmmmm... my tolerance is 40 -50 mg hydrocodone to nod, which i think is ridiculously strong but just 2 or 3 grams of uei kratom has me nodding out for hours and better euphoria. how some of you guys can say kratom is NOT strong --- damn some of you have tolerances

Yup, I'm the same way. I've tried Kratom UEI twice and both times I was nodding furiously for well over 8 hours. Even a little waking dreams mixed into the euphoric buzz along the way.


I think it has everything to do with the strain/variety/batch and vendor. If you get a good batch from a reputable vendor then you're set for a good time. But there are are a lot of folks out there selling shit and passing it off as "Kratom Super." Its vendors like that that have given Kratom a bad name.
 
Two reasons come to mind-

1-People who enjoy opiates enough to bother usually have to high a tolerance for it to work.

2-There is a lot pf bunk kratom out there.

I enjoyed it myself, but I can get hydros and oxy without any trouble so...
