Why is this a problem to exchange numbers with your connects clients?

Hi guys ! Kinda new here to Bluelight. So I have a question I would think this is the right section to post this in I apolgize in adavance if its not.
Heres my problem... I here and there do some work for my dealer like handyman type things around his place because he fronts me so much for long periods of time.

So the other day I and another one of his "clients" who I have never met before were helping him move into another place and me and the girl talked a bit and she asked to use my phone to call her bf (who also is one of his clients) and I said yeah and she said that she just went ahead and saved her number in there after using my phone. I said ok cool and thought nothing of it.

After my guy dropped me off, a lil later she hmu. Me and her exhanged maybe 3 simple short "hey whats up what ya doin" texts and I didnt reply to her after her she responded when I asked what she was doin simply because I had no intrest in talking to her, was just being friendly by responding to her first text. We never talked again that day or next days to come.

A few days later my guy angrily hits me up saying to never cross that line again and to NEVER exhange numbers with people he brings around me or he will f**k my life up and that in fact he should come pay me a visit to teach me a lesson. He thinks I'm lying when I tell him that I truly didn't know that wasn't ok amd had I known I wouldn't of let that happen. Scares me because he knows exactly where me and most of my family live stupid of me I know but I was always to lazy to go meet him.
Now me and him have a good relationship we chill here and there I've never crossed or have tried to cross him nor stole from him when he has left certian things around without his supervision so theres trust there and he knows hes my only contact and I get alot of money on the 1st of every month so he makes a lot off me.

So my question is what was the big deal that me and her exchanged numbers? I guess I can kinda see why it was a problem really thinking about it, but I cant seem to see what clear problem it would cause? Someone said maybe that gets in the way of his money but I don't really see how? He also fronts her and her bf. So could someone enlighten me on this? In all my years of in the game I have never heard of this or had a dealer pissed at me for this. He is crazy pissed at me right now and I just don't get it. Sorry this is long hopefully someone reads it just wanted to include all details to get a good answer. Thanks!
 
I really don't know...he sounds kind of psycho tbh. The only thing I can think of is maybe he gives some people better prices than others, and doesnt want them finding out? I doubt that's really it, just all I could think of.
 
Yeah could be a psycho... Or:

1) He likes her.
2) He's giving one of you a better deal.
3) He actually respects the privacy of his clients. He may have a high profile customer who's trying to hide his habit (someone very rich and/or famous).
 
Hmmm speaking from personal exp, i have a dealer who i met thru one of his clients. The client is a good friend of mine and our dealer is a liar. Whenever one of us makes a buy we coordinate with eachother.. Not gonna say my dealers real name so ill say Sam

"Hey man sam just hit me up asking me if i wanted any smack"

*REALLY????? I gave him money 2 days ago and he keeps telling me he has problems with his car or his plug wont answer*

"Oh he told you that??? I just asked him if he's able to go get it and he said yeah, you should text him and see if its fixed yet"

*i did the motherfucker said hes stranded in ######## with no ride*


"He told me he could get to me in 5 minutes cause hes home"


Scenario 2 that happens a lot

"""Woooow dude i really hate sam.. I gave him the money for the shit and he said he was going straight to pick it up and has been gone for 9 hours"""""

Then my homie replies with

*wow dude hes been over here for the last 2 hours just chilling*

Does your dealer lie a lot? Maybe he doesnt want his customers coordinating with eachother

Yeah a lot of dealers are pieces of shit. Hopefully you told him to fuck off and shove his drugs forcefully up his own ass. If I got a phone call like that when I was still in the "scene" that's what I would've done, getting threatened over the phone would've set me right off. Then again I was usually high all the time and carried a handgun with me wherever I went so often shits were not given even if they perhaps should've been

If a dangerous criminal really knows where most of your family lives, that's kind of irresponsible IMO
 
Well I had something like that happen and the reason was pretty obvious. I showed up to meet my guy and this girl was there for a transaction too, and she started up a conversation with me (as a rule I never initiate a conversation with a girl that shows up with a dealer). The deals are usually hand off and bounce. But this girl was ridiculously insanely perfect 10 hot and pretty much openly flirting so of course I just hung out and kept talking to her. After a few minutes connect was just like "ok cya later" and put his arm around me and walked me to the door. So obvious he wanted to or already was banging her, she was into guys who had dope, and he sure as shit didn't want her around another guy with a bunch of dope, but wasn't in any kind of relationship where he could expect her to not just get friendly with a stranger in front of him.

So it could be that. My second guess is her bf found out she was talking to you, got jealous, asked her how she got your number/how you met, then called and flipped out on your connect, who not wanting to lose business, flipped out on you.

While I've never experienced anything quite that extreme. I have seen rules kinda like that before, and generally its been because the dealer is either giving different prices to different people and doesnt want them talking. Or is concerned that one of their customers will find a better connect and then take other customers with them if they know eachother.

But I've never seen anyone be that intense about the subject, and im sure there could be other reasons.

Ive generally gotten the feeling from some dealers that they don't want their customers to know eachother unless they already did before meeting that dealer. But like ive said, I've never had seen someone be this extreme about it.
 
They don't want you exchanging plugs, discussing prices, and sometimes when product is low and they know you are sick they make you wait.

Dude sounds like a piece of work and you obviously can't stand up to him.

I get people can be scary but I find half guys like that to be total pussies. Still a pussy with a gun is dangerous.

If you stay in touch with those people you better have a serious talk. They might say he is all talk or fucking nuts.

Dude seems kinda unprofessional but your part is to get your shit and gtfo. I never talked to people when waiting and gave them the 'I am waiting on my man' to 'stfu before I hurt you.'

All that being said, I was getting the better deal.
 
nothing wrong with small talk if youre in the same room or vacinity while waiting for the same shit, id never exchange numbers tho unless my dealer was there and said you guys should exchange numbers, might be able to help each other out down the line. thats happened a couple of times.
 
Yeah, I've never bought anything from anyone that tried to prevent people from talking to other customers, nor have I ever really heard of this issue coming up. In fact, I've always known one or a few other customers prior to buying whatever it was I was getting at the time. This guy sounds absolutely nuts. The only things I could imagine would be like other people said that he likes the girl you were talking to or is giving different people different prices which is odd in and of itself. The idea of him having a famous customer seems rather unlikely though not entirely impossible I suppose.
