Hello all,
I am seeking help and asking for any thoughts on how this is possible………..
I have been on Suboxone for 4 years and never had any issues with my u/a's my doctor was giving me. I take my meds daily! I started breaking out with hives and after a year of my doctor trying to narrow out the problem, he figured out I was allergic to Naloxone in the suboxone. In the beginning of June 2012, my doc switched me from suboxone to subutex. I immediately notice the difference and all around feel 100% better!
The issue I am now having all of the sudden are my u/a's say that my "numbers" have flipped. My doctor says the only way for this to happen is if I'm loading my meds. I guess loading means I'm only taking my medicine a day or two before I am due in to make it look like Im taking my meds. This happened 2 times in a row, so my doctor insisted that I take my meds under supervision. For 2 weeks I came into the office daily and did supervised dosages. In the mean time my test came in and my numbers were fine again. This was the results from the test I took the day he decided to put me on a supervised dosages. I was happy that my numbers went back to normal and let things go. Then today I went in for my normal visit for a script. My u/a from last time came back funky again like I was loading. This is results from during the time I was getting supervised doses. My doctor looked at me perplexed and made me feel like I am doing something wrong. He said he would look into it further but the results weren't possible.
I don't know what to do. I TAKE MY MEDS EVERYDAY! Why are my u/a levels all wacky. What could be causing this to happen? I don't want my doctor to take me off subtext bc I will just end up back on the streets using again. That scares me to death.
I can tell you that its not because of any supplements I was taking because I stopped all as soon as I got my first u/a being weird. Please help me. Where can I get answer for this problem? What can I do to make sure my levels never show up like I'm loading again……..
Any Advise?
