Why is morphine so unpopular?

As for not being able to get high from oral M.....that may be the case, but snorted M can give you a very powerful buzz, although you do need more mg for mg than oxycodone. I've only eaten M a couple times, and snorting is definately the way to go.

It's no argued fact that oral morphine sucks, and I agree, if you have only s15 or 30 mg's , up the nose is the way to go.

morphine is good but theres way better opiates,wayyy better,like dilaudid for example,or even opiuM:D:D:Dyum.The only thing i like about morphine is its really good with weed and it gives me some preaty cool dreams.but theres better....

IV morphine makes me anxious as hell, like something is about to go very, very wrong. Never had that with other iv opiates i've...uh...heard about.

Funny story. I go to the ER because it feels like my apendix is going to pop. Before the MRI they ask if I want morphine. I say sure, and being that I am on a vast amount of prescribed opiates, I think I won't even feel a 5 of iv morph. 2 minutes later I'm covered in puke and looking for the fastes exit from the ER. Creepy. In a nice way, though.
 
to the guy that mentioned opium, that shit is too hard to find too start using as a drug of choice... ive had real shit 1 time, and i have incredible hook ups.
 
morphine is only enjoyable to me if i take a couple of vicodins first. let the vicodin buzz settle in, just about at its peak, then crush up a morphine pill and eat it. the morphine usually makes the vicodin buzz last almost all day, instead of about 3 hours. morphine by itself really doesn't get me off, it just makes my legs feel weak and gives me a wierd feeling in my stomach.
 
Ahh! I almost forgot, I had to go to the ER because I ate something bad, and threw up about 20 times in 12 hours, and as much or not more on the back end too, and when I went in, they said they would give me a painkiller becuase my stomache hurt so bad from the constant vomiting. When I asked what it was, the nurse said, 4mg IV Morphine. Well damm, I had a tolerance at the time to popy tea, so I thought it would do nothing. Wrong! :) It totaly took away 85% of the pain, and I felt a warm , and dreamy texture fill my body. It also acted like a benzo, calmed the mind right down. So I take back what I said before, I have had IV Morphine. And it was nice, not great mind you at that low level, but I was inpressed.

Please to all who are new to IV'ing, take it slow, you can always do more later, ya dig? Peace.
 
First time I IV'd Morphine I did 15mg and it was pretty mild. 30-35mg is nice though. I also find it to be very relaxing.I get a way better rush from 8mg Dilaudid though. I'm not able to get the pharm amps currently so Dillies it is.
 
I don't know why everone hates MS Contin. Sure, Oxycontin, hydromorphone, and H are better, but if MS is all you got, it aint that bad. It takes me about 80 mg Oxy insuflated to fell good, and it takes my about 120 mg or MS crushed and dissolved under the tounge to fell good.
 
Common guys...admit it! If your stuck on a desert island would you rather have a crate of MSContin or a crateful of Darvon.............?
 
I like oral MS Contin. I like snorted MS Contin. I much perfer MS Contin over oxy, because it dosn't make me feel all jittery like oxy does. It does take more, but it's worth it in my opinion, when its available. Dilaudid is great stuff too, but i wouldn't shoot any of it. Needles are nothing but problems IMHO.
 
I haven't read most of the replies, but I love Morphine, though it is best through IV. Though it's effects may not be as hard hitting as some of the others, they are unique to me, and I like them. Oxycodone is my absolute favorite, then Hydromorphone IV (Dilaudid), then Morphine IV, then Hydrocodone, then Herion. I don't hold Heroin any where near as high as most people. It just doesn't effect me the same way.
