If it hasn't caught on yet then it probably won't.and if amphetamine sulphate which isn't smokeable is the preferred form of speed over there which if crystal meth made an appearance I don't see how it would remain the preferred form.price might be a factor.but I still can't see why with the availability of psuedo and it's not like it's hard to do.

its extremely crude somtimes unless you find the right sources, but when you do.. not only is the purity upwards of 80-90% but you also get a great product that still does carry the negative aspects such as being caustic due to the materials to produce it but crystal is easier to make because the ingredients are everywhere. supply and demand + easy production = cheaper prices

As for cheap crappy speed and coke squeezing it out I don't know about that.here in Oz we had cheep crappy impure speed(cut meth) which was all locally made and was the norm with ice being the rarer version but once psuedo was clamped down on the shift towards smokeable crystal happened and is now the norm.if anyone had the impure unsmokeable cut stuff they wouldn't be able to sell it as no one would want it.or maybe the polish suppliers are keeping the Chinese and Mexicans out of europe.and how could amphetamine be easier to make than meth apparently it's just as easy but its lower yeilding by like 50%.which is a mystery as to why they choose to make a less desirable less valuable less potent lower yeilding drug?that's the real question.

In Melbourne Australia meth is the cheapest it has been sence 2005, and purity is absolutely insane. The prices some people mentioned arnt the standard now (if your in the right circles)
Half grams of dynamite D-methamphetamine ( so good after years and years of D/L-methamphetamine) are going for $XX. Absolute glass grade. A heap of meth in the US is very poorly synthesized shake and bake. The Mexican meth is meant to be alright but still not on par with some of the S.E Asia meth coming into Aus. A recent bust of 400Kg or so had a purity of 92.3% D/L-methamphetamine.

Yeah man thats true. I was in China last year-Nanjing, Beijing and Shanghai (Shanghai city is fucking AMAZING)
An Asian mate I was with said the same. Its expensive compared to elsewhere however its always high grade shards. No one sells Yaba pills. Where as its vice verser down in citys in thailand ect

Not much interest in amphetamines in the UK these days we're all about coke coke coke. Meth as I understand it has some limited popularity in the London gay scene but that's about it.
To answer OP it's because most of it is imported and you have very strict customs in Aus. This is why every drug is so expensive over there. I've heard of people paying $10-20 for a single Xanax bar! Fuck! And about the same for just a single 5mg dex pill! Howwwww?
And how much are pingers over there? Heard some even more insane prices for those. Tenner a pop on the street or £2.50 a pop DNM in the UK.
