And how on earth can a gram of crystal methamphetamine be sold in the Phillipines at a cheaper per gram price than the 2018 price ?


As the UNODC table below shows, the prices of most major drugs have fallen in the Philippines, indicating widespread
availability. Crystal meth fell in price from US$163.7 per gram to US$130.1. Ecstasy fell in price from US$37.7 per gram to US$32.50, cannabis from US$3.20 per gram to US$2.30. Only cocaine rose in price from US$99.30 per gram to US$101.4. It should be noted that shabu is the drug most available by far in the Philippines.

Further from the source of production, with only air or sea routes to smuggle. Huge amounts of methamphetamine travel by land into the US daily through its porous border with mexico (be it via car or truck, walked across the border on foot, smuggled in tunnels, catapulted over the border fence, or any of the many means concieved by the humble and industrious mexican people).

It's probably a case of you can't get the precursors in oz to cook the shit up but another side of me tells me them excluded ex British cons are too dumb to do shit like that themselves... ;)

There should be a lesser sentance on importing precursors than importing the drug.
Just a general observation as I ain't a meth cook but looking at the mdma being imported the above holds true.
 
Australia has the strongest customs in the world.
@Arnold australians have been busted with the biggest mdma labs in the world before the bikies have huge meth labs aswell

The average miner or tradie on meth has alot more cash to acutally afford high prices than america

In asia the cheapest price of meth per gram is cheaper than food. The chienese literally have next to zero cost in making meth while making them mega rich by flooding australia and nz with it
 
In Bali it's $25 per gram in Oz $280-$400ish.difference being in Bali it's a 3rd world country so $25 is a lot of money to them I think.not just that but ephedrine is still readily available and can be purchased for a few $$$ per gram otc in stores everywhere.availability of precursor=cheaper street prices.oz has no OTC or easily accessible precursor which means higher prices also its harder to smuggle into the country with the fact were an island with not many neighbors and the neighbors we do have aren't source country's like Thailand or mexico.the reason it's cheaper in the u.s. is bcoz it's right next to Mexico which has cartels pumping out tons in superlabs and heaps of ways to smuggle into the u.s.
It could literally be thrown over the border fence.you can't do that here in oz.the only ways in are high risk such as through the postal system which is tightly controlled and even though it's commonly successful for rc's it is still a big risk,muling it in to the country is probably the least common and is usually reserved for heroin/coke smuggling.the only other two are shipping containers or sea/air which is usually only done on the large scale by crews who have the ability to set that up.all these reasons are why it cost so much here $5000 per ounce and why in the u.s you only pay $1000 per ounce.in China or Poland it's probably only a few hundred per ounce.

Here in Australia purity of 90+%- absolute pure is the norm now.cut stuff just ain't that common anymore.theres more pure stuff around than cut stuff.
 
But is the Mexican shit as good as made in China meth?

Most big busts of meth coming from overseas into Australia come from Southern mainland China or Hong Kong.

But you never hear of Chinese meth getting busted into the port of Rotterdam or LAX cargo terminal.

Aren't there many Asian Triads in Europe or North America?
 
I hear it's well above average and far cleaner than small operations and is the main thing over the border since Juarez went down. I don't use, never seen, I just know they occasionally get shipping containers of pseudoephedrine and hydroxide nailed in port in NE or NW Jalisco area.. and it's untaxed, unregistered and unrecorded.. but is marked clearly and is on a freighter from China, with Mandarin written on everything.. I did the math there but probably coulda skipped it.

In the UK ephedrine can be bought for around £40 for 1000 x 30mg tabs in most bodybuilding circles and even for even cheaper (I pay £40 but the guy I buy off probably only pays £25-£30 per thousand. Given how cheap and available other precursors are, I've always wondered why it never caught on. Probably market resistance due much improved quality of cocaine recently, although expensive at anywhere from £100 for decent quality (80-90% Peruvian fishscale which knocks your socks off btw..Plus the proliferation of varying quality Polish Amphetamine Sulphate for much cheaper... (£10 or even £5 for bash that's like 95% caffeine and about 3 times as much for semi decent (Street not Dark Web) prices...

I guess there just isn't the market for meth at £100 or so a gram when there are so many alternatives... The only place I've ever even seen meth is in the Gay Village in Manchester when I was at uni there and I've no idea of quality and this was late 90s.

Still, from crack, to fent laced heroin, everything crosses the Atlantic eventually so why the market resisters to meth in the UK Oven the ease of ephedrine and pseudo procurement, why has it just not caught on at all? Maybe cos we can import so much from the mainland and other routes it's just not seen as worth it but the way it had gripped The US, Australia Aisia etc how is it still such a rarety in the UK besides small amounts from the DNMs.

And is this set to change anytime soon does anyone think?
