SO, I am going to have to agree with most of the people on here. You MUST of done something wrong in the baking phase in order for you not to have the hash work.
The Medical Club I go to only uses hash to cook their, cookies, candies etc etc.
I have cooked many, many, many times with both weed and hash. Both work, but both have different ways of cooking it.
For me, what i did to make some Hash cake, was I got about 1 stick and a half of butter melted down in the microwave in a PYREX bowl (safe to use in microwave and oven). After it was all melted, I took about 3 grams of hash from 3 different types, grinded it up as much as possible, mixed it in with the butter in the pyrex bowl and put it in the oven @ 250 Degrees F for 35 mins. When you are done with that, it is ready to mix in with whatever you are cooking with. I chose a Chocolate cake mix, I followed the instructions on the box and replaced the regular butter/oil with the Hash Butter I made. I think the mix I had called for a 1/2 cup of oil, and the melted stick and a half with hash was roughly that in a measuring cup. When cooking, I always turn it up not as high as the box tells me. For example, you dont want to have your Oven on any higher than like 360 Degrees F because you will burn and evaporate the stuff you need to get high. I would cook at a lower temp, for a longer period of time, and just check sporadically with a tooth pick in the middle until it fully cooked through.
The hash cake I made, got me stoned very nice, and I have a high tolerance. I gave a tiny slice to my cousins g/f (no tolerance) and she was tripping balls that night. Also other friends i gave a slice to, were also telling me how incredibly fucked up they were (in a good way of course) and that it was the best edible they have ate ever.
So maybe the OP didnt simmer the hash in the butter correctly, or perhaps he had his oven set way too high and just evaporated all of his hash butter and work.
But if you were to cook it correctly, then you would be getting the same feedback as I was when I cooked my batch.
And I personally LOVE eating EDIBLES. Big fan of eating some edibles and smoking while on it. I hear people say all the time that edibles don't work, don't do anything to them and I think they all just have really high tolerances and are not eating enough. But at the same time, I also know people that won't eat edibles anymore because of bad trips from them. One friend I know ate a brownie that was like 10X and had like have a tray, and striaght up hallucinated from it and will not eat edibles ever again.
So it is a fine line to walk when it comes to edibles because everyone has different tolerances and edibles have varying amounts.
