Why I left the club Friday night

I just left the scene.
Oh man, what a scene!
I couldn’t stand the vibe.
Ya know what I mean?
Youthful vitality joined in the dance
And everything looks as it should at first glance.
But look under the surface and what do you see?
I see a purpose that’s troubling me.
They dance not to express and not to be free.
They dance for one reason: they dance to be seen.
So I left them there to drown in a sea
Of superficiality.

I liked it a lot aswell... although im not one to love rhyme, it worked... because of the topic. I love the topic and what you are talking about. Its so true. Everything is so "sceney"...superficial...UNORIGINAL!
