Because ppl there are used to their cut "base" amphetamine, and to rephrase the question so as to make it impossible to answer,

"Why hasn't MDMA taken off in America post 2K like it has in the UK?"

I will say one reason is that the UK is so close to the mainland european MDMA cooks, but other than that, I can't figure out why I'm not rolling again like it was 1997 with these new Tesla and whatnot presses that everybody else lucky enough to get one raves about.

It does seem to be steadily becoming more prevalent, I would presume partly because of darknet access.

I don't think it helps that we have about 7 square meters of land not in view of someone at some point.
Neither Meth nor a Meth lab are hard to knock up, but the odds of the acrid and unmistakable fumes being noticed are far less in the middle of the Mojave desert than above the local Gregg's.
