Weeds known for causing anxiety. If you have anxiety already it doesn't take many brain points to work this one out..
Actually, this isn't entirely true. There are many different strains of marijuana, all of them classified as either Indica, Sativa, or some hybrid combination of the two. Indica and Sativa produce different results within the body and mind, Indica being more of a sedative and Sativa being more of a stimulator.
Indica is medically tested to help patients with anxiety, insomnia, pain, stress, seizures, migraines, etc. It is best to smoke Indica at night, because it's likely that one won't want to do much during the day when under this strain's intoxication. This is my personal favorite, because I have trouble with sleeping and as I mentioned previously, I have anxiety. Work and school are very stressful for me and I notice an increase in my stress and anxiety levels when I don't indulge in such strains.
Sativa is medically proven to help with depression; one should indulge in this strain upon waking up in the morning, fore it fuels the mind and boosts creativity. I have a very difficult time focusing on just one thing, so I occasionally will smoke a strain of Sativa when painting or doing something creative/artistic to help with my concentration. Do you remember those fuzzy posters that you can get at Fred Meyers or your local craft store? I purchased one of those a few months ago because I wanted to have a chill, relaxing night at home while stoned and finished it within a couple of hours. I've never been able to concentrate on one thing for so long, especially when it comes to coloring.
So, my point is, while your statement it partially true, it all depends on the strain of marijuana and how you're using it. Experiment with different strains and find what works for you. Speaking of which, it's time to go smoke and take a nap.
