Why does Vyvanse give you such as shit feeling the whole time, then worse at the crash, while Adderall (I have no experience with pure dextroamphetamine) is perfectly normal feeling, as in speedy euphoria and what not. I know about the pharmacokinetics of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate, so no need to mention the initial GI metabolism. I'm just wondering why no matter what, Vyvanse is just shit.

You said it yourself.

Also, the dosage is deceiving as 30mg of adderall is not equal to 30mg of Vyvanse, while actually 30mg of adderall is probably stronger (contains more amphetamine) than the 70mg vyvanse. There is a conversion table I am not sure where, I will look

But where do the side effects come from? It's considerably different in its effects. I don't see how the GI metabolism step could make such a huge step. Maybe it's metabolites or something. I know very little of pharmacology.

what side effects? you have to remember that adderall is not only dextroamphetamine sulphate it includes three other amphetamine compounds which may explain this, on the other hand this maybe because of the dose, also it could be a good comparison to try dex sulphate just to see. I have tried all the rx stimulants available and hands down dexedrine is the gold standard, there is a tie for second between vyvanse and adderall because I find adderall much more recreational than vyvanse infact I find vyvanse to be very tolerable even moreso than dex sulphate during stressful non recreational uses

Vyvanse has only one active metabolite. Dextroamphetamine. Just think of Vyvanse as (very) extended release Dexedrine. For some people, Vyvanse is actually better than Dexedrine. Other people prefer Adderall to dextroamphetamine/Dexedrine/Vyvanse for whatever reason. Everybody is different.

For some people Vyvanse just doesn't work. As mentioned, the conversion is not equal. 25mg Vyvanse is equal to around 10mg Dexedrine (or around 12-13mg Adderall). So you'd need around 50mg Vyvanse to equal the 30mg Adderall you're used to. Maybe even 60mg, depending on your individual reaction. Of course, Vyvanse last considerably longer so the experience may seem less intense. If you don't tell us what side effects you're having its basically impossible to help you...

Your best bet is to talk to your doctor about maybe switching your medication and/or changing your dose.

I'm really not sure what the whole effect the GI metabolization has on the effects of Vyvanse. However, from both attempting to use it recreationally and using it as prescribed for a number of years i can definitely tell you that Vyvanse (For me at least) has this weird rebound effect. After it wears off i start hating everybody and everything. Now this doesn't happen when i use Adderal like you described. I personally believe that because Vyvanse lasts so long not only is its effect less stimulating but its active in your body for a longer period of time than for example snorting Adderal would be. My philosophy that just like extended amphetamine use can lead to nasty crashes and also rather unpleasant effects, the fact that Vyvanse lasts so long may have something to do with that overall "shitty" feeling you describe. Hope this helps and msg me for more info and personal experience.
