Why does the first hit of a blue (30mg oxy) always make me dry heave?

I have been smoking blues for about a month now every day. For some reason every morning when I take my first hit (I smoke them by the way) I always, ALWAYS dry heave over my trash can. All the other hits after that are completely fine.. I don't get it.

I was just wondering if it was like that for anyone else. I have quite the tolerance to them so I don't think that is the issue. Could it be that it is just too harsh on my throat first thing? My friend has the same thing happen to her, but no one else I know has that problem.

Just curious as to why it could be happening or if it happens to anyone else.

Do antihistamines help (ie. allergy / travel sickness medicine). Could just be sudden histamine release first thing. Alternatively, if you're smoking a fuckload of dodgy binders, could be irritation on throat/upper GI.

yeah dont smoke them at least snort em if you want that high sooner

^ true.

and maybe its because the first morning high is always the best. try to lower your dosage just for the morning. idk cuz ive never smoked oxy. its wasteful as shit. juts eat em, plug, or snort em. it will last a lot longer plus smoking all them fillers and binders is fucking nasty, but to each his own.

its common to vomit or be nauseous when intoxicated from opiates, ill consider that a common side effect, i must remind you however, even tho its ur choice, ur better off taking them orally....

it's cause your smoking a bunch of fucked up shit thats in the pills once your high your lungs and throat get a little numb so you don't feel the hit as hard

Its called your body is your gaurdian angel...unless your desire to be on them can handle that everyday......i puke everytime i do them even if its been 2 months str8 or whatever its your body telling you.....STOP....opiates are not like other drugs.....they take your life....and take your sole hostage for life.....stop now youll never get use to it....it means this path was not meant for you....listen to your body

I've had that problem with weed recently, but I've also been getting over a bad flu that brought a bad cough with it. My first dab of the day nearly kills me and makes me want to throw up, but then after a little while, I'm completely fine to smoke more with no real problems. I think if you have any sort of cough/flu symptoms, it's amplified in the mornings.

Please don't smoke oxys! If you really want to smoke pills than smoke oxymorphone(the original). At least they will get you good for a while too. But be careful as oxymorphone are much more potent than oxycodone. Just pop or snort oxycodone. Or just smoke some heroin off foil instead.

first high of the day is the strongest and tends to amplify the good and bad. Try lowering the dose or snort them for the first high of the day.

The dry heaving is a withdrawal symptom, even just the thought of doing one can make some people gag, it's a reaction your body makes from going from feeling like shit, to feeling great rapidly.. And ffs, adhere to the advice these ppl have been telling you about not smoking oxy. That ROA has like 10%BA! Most of the actual smoke you're inhaling is the pill's binders. Stick to swallowing or sniffing when it comes to oxycodone. If you MUST smoke, choose a drug that is better suited for that ROA,(heroin, opium, hell, even weed).

Common w opiates...I have one hell of a tolerance, and I get a wave of nausea if H is good.

I have dry heaved from Fentynol....it sucked. The nausea was overwhelming and lasted for hours, even though I have a high tolerance.

And yeah, don't smoke pills, you go through anything you smoke really fast.

Yes, what the person above me said. The psychological stuff is powerful. I knew someone that quit H. Everyday at three o'clock when the train went by, she threw-up, because that's when she used to be really sick and had to take the train to go cop. The mind is so very powerful.
