Why does the Bic lighter have total domination in the market?

yeah, i should own a safety razor. you're right about their utility.

about the lighters, it helps that bic comes in every color flavor and style ever.
 
Bics are really nice they last forever. Clippers are the lighters of choice in the UK as they have a 'dibber', the flint thing that pulls out for tamping down joints with.

Disposable razors are awful - and so expensive.
Safety razors are far, far superior.
 
They last a long time, it's very hard to break them, and I just love their ones with psychedelic art on them (are they pandering to me? Yes. Do I care? Not particularly, gotta light my bowls somehow...)
 
I hate the lighters you can pull the metal piece off and make the flame like 6 inches high lol.


Bic is where it's at. Also, Bics are more difficult for kids to flick on.
 
Bics are the best because they use all metal parts, (which was said by an earlier poster,)as are the D'Jeep lighters. The D'Jeeps are even adjustable. But personally, even though I like the shape, I find it a little awkward. Plus you hardly ever see them anywhere. And here's another thing to think about with lighters: you can modify a bic so that it's re-fillable. Well, I can't. I'm not about to sit around tweeking on a disposable lighter to figure it out. But I've seen it done. So all you types who like to take stuff apart, get to work.
