Why does taking an oral dose of meth feel stronger?

I was trying to figure out how to take it orally, because I didn't want to straight up eat it because it's gross, and I didn't want to parachute it either. So after looking around a lot, I heard that people have mixed it in their drinks, and I wanted to mix it in a small amount of soda so it wouldn't taste bad, but people were recommending water is better. So I got a shard that was around 80mg and just dropped in the water bottle and it dissolved in less than 3 seconds. I was pretty surprised and thought maybe I dropped the shard somewhere else, because It just dissolved instantly. None the less it did not taste good, but only involved 3 gulps that I chased down with soda.

I wasn't expecting much because everyone says that oral dose is the weakest (and safest, least comedown), and I normally snort and have smoked in the past. But I went to go shower and than just do a few things, and couldn't help but notice this strong feeling that slowly was increasing. At first I thought maybe i'm just imagining things, but now it's been an hour and the feeling is STILL slightly getting stronger! I feel much higher than I do from snorting even 100mg as opposed to orally drinking 80mg. I also have the "tingles" and slight rushes running through my head, and arms every so often. I have read very few people who have also said that orally taking meth, was stronger than smoking it for them and much less side effects. But most people didn't say anything special about orally taking it.

So why is this oral dose, that I wasn't expecting much from at all so much stronger than what most people say about orally dosing. It feels a lot stronger to me than snorting does, and the process was way easier and the high is very "clean" as opposed to other methods that make me feel "dirtier" sometimes. The euphoria is pretty powerful too. I could imagine people could easily OD by just putting in a little too much, and drinking it because it was really simple.

Is it strange that I am feeling an oral dose much stronger than what is mostly mentioned? Anyone else have good experience with oral dosing? Thanks.

I never understood why people like rushes from drugs, I always enjoyed feeling the effects slowly build until I hit the peak. Maybe it seems stronger because you actually have a comeup instead of being smacked in the face by the rush.

Hmm, snorting always felt stringer to me then smoking. Don't get me wrong when i smoked it i got up there but it was really subtle and i could miss it easily. In fact the first time i actually had some that was mine i had felt i had never really experinced it fully and decided to do enough to get to the point where the effects really stood out. I was with my friend and had a half gram. I would smoke half a point or so with him wonder why i wasnt higher and then smoke another... and another... and "just one more" till i was out. I then proceeded to look for some that i thought i had dropped for 32 hours straight all while wondering why i wasnt that high. I actually gave myself rug burn so bad it scared while crawling around on his floor. If thats not tweaking i dont know what is(and i definetly know what tweaking is) but if you would have asked me at any point during all this if i was up there, i would have said no.
