Why does snorting adderall do nothing?

I'v been snorting aderall for the first time lately and even when snorting upto 40 mgs iv felt nothing. Tripsit says thats a hefty dose. I don't get why it dosent work. I'v done 70 mgs orally and thats just fine. And its not like its XR or ER or anything

When you take the same adderall orally, do you feel anything? What is your history of stims like?

When you crush the pills up, how fine is the powder?

Are your nasal passages dry when you partake? Get some saline nasal spray. Adderall is water soluble I believe.

When you snort, are you experiencing any drip soon after? If so, it’s possible you’re inhaling too hard/heavy.

im pretty new to stims iv done like ritalin and stuff

id say its pretty fine. Certainly more fine than sand

yeah theyre pretty dry but not too dry, ig i'l try a saline spray

yeah theres a moderate-high amount of drip, i wouldnt say its like the whole pill but its a good amount like i drink a liter of water just to make it stop tasting like shit

I am not sure it will be work for you, as it is not directly alike. But it could be helpful as a piece of the puzzle.

So I somewhat have breathing problems due to the structure of my nose. This has caused me to breathe more heavily to compensate after years of no treatment.

In this journey I’ve learned that if I breathe too heavily, air will flow into my mouth from my throat, causing extreme dryness.

When I first started using nasal sprays, I found that instantly there would be a massive drip with no relief. Turns out that a couple decades of learned heavy breathing meant that the saline or medicine was flowing right through the nose, not helping at all.

This may or may not be applicable. Others will be a lot more helpful for you in terms of the science.

The only explanation I have for this issue would be an incomplete breakdown of the controlled release mechanism of the capsules. It is possible that the beads seem fully pulverized yet are not actually small enough to solute into your mucous membranes. The only issue I have here is that, even if this were the case, there is only one direction for that material to go, down your throat and into your stomach.

Do not quote me on this, I'm referring to my own memory as a reference. I thought I remembered that most people who make an average attempt at crushing Addrall XR beads are going to end up with only 80%-85% as actual, instant release medication. Someone who maybe doesn't have the right equipment (you need a hard surface and a hard object to pulverize these, not a CD case or whatever) I can see how you could end up with an incompletely crushed product.

Adderall doesn't absorb in the blood fast. There is a limit to how much you can metabolize at one time.
