Why does music sound so bad-ass on MDMA?

Honestly I like taking MDMA for the sole purpose of listening to DnB! I love it enough as it is when I'm sober but add weed, E, or pretty much any other drug and I'm going crazy. Especially with amps...

I was at a party a few months ago and did some molly and they were blasting a bunch of rock music. Not that I don't like rock but I agree with the poster above who said it sounds like ass on MDMA. Just wasn't feeling it.

I agree, when on MDMA music sounds FUCKING PHENOMINAL! Like everyone else I find EDM is really enhanced, rock music on the other hand really needs meth to sound insane. Infact MDMAs music enhancement is one of my favourtie effetcs from the drug and also depending on the song you can really feel the emotion comming from it... dubstep is insane but you cant really dance on it unless you want to look like a retard lol weed also enhancees music pretty good for me but i find I am breaking the music alot on it.

Chemically I think it comes down mostly to 5HT2A receptor activation - have read reports MDAI enhances music very much the same as MDMA!
