Why does Marijuana make you twitch ?

is called hypnic jerk and can happen without cannabis or drug consumption, happens to me now and again

Take this with a grain of salt. I experience this when I try to go off my regular caffeine intake. Wouldn’t be surprising that Cannabis may/might affect this since it does interfere with with sleep.

Also... Do you listen to music after you smoke or is that too intense for you ? I know some people can't handle the spinning.

HAS anyone else with a High THC tolerance, taken 150+ mg in edibles, and then... you get so high, that you get FREEZING..

like, i dont know how to explain? but it was like i would "OD" but NOT green out, on edibles, then i would get Frigid and need to go under a blanket. if i stick even 1 limb outside of the blanket, it can cause me to SHIVER SO BAD NON-FUCKING-STOP IT FEELS LIKE A VEIN WILL BURST IN MY NECK. this has happened a handful of times for me! Anyone else..?
 
hey yeah we have talked about that with friemd! extreme high doses of thc can cause shivering and feeling of cold. I dunno why butI I suspect that extreme vasodilation causes rapid temperature loss, and may play a part in this phenomenon

this happened to me last year after i got greedy and smoked a fat snake of hash in a joint with weed already in it pure, fucked me right up lol my tolerance is not what it once used to be
 
Lifelong smoker before during after .. whatever.

Twists, jerks wake that get enhanced by music or when fallin asleep, stutter at the start and vertigo.
Witnessed all those [edit: cept stutter] but never caused by Cannabis. Or even the full-agonist synthetics.
Those could take you down or give undescribable bad/ delerium like trip. Embarrising substances at times.

What are you smoking does not sound like Weed/ THC related to me. Experiment, stop and if it continues.
And if doesn t try maybe a mini dose, and see if its not actually a conditioned or individual response.
But that up to you not a recommandation.

Swear had all those things also before or without Weed Especially vertigo monday's exhaustion.
Hyperventilating a bit then stepping out of the lift for thefirst 3 hours of work. Floo vibrating still,
after walking a hallway to the door while ringing the bell. Somethings you just run or endure.

speak out Weed, Pre Cannabis, medications drug use sleeping eating breating hydration.
Its a system body/ brain and we live in it i presume, Western world a.o. disrupts Homeostasis.
THC effects it too. They say its positive in that case, but believing or prove no i dont really believe.

As long as i enjoy it i ll smoke, with such side effect no way i d stop.

Yes, i experienced this quite often. I also experienced muscle jerks and these days i smoke much less often but sometimes i experience immediate physicsl paralysis - i can't move or even open the door. I always have to somehow come close to my bed and lay down for a while.

Yes i've had that thing happen at times. Usually with very high doses. The best remedy has been to find a truly relaxing position for the body, which can be a challenge.
 
Twitch? M'well, my right-hand thumb does happen to twitch while holding the remote control, but not for long once i've zapped TV channels after politicians and their bigot prohibitionist friends started telling us about the « truth on marihuana », especially at Halloween... Which is the only instances when i can associate twitches and cannabis.
