Why does kratom feel different

After my binge with ethylphenidate 2-fa and the biggest meth. Which I gave up all because one led to another and bam a nine year being sober out the window. When I take kratom maeng da I feel it's effects but I get so tired. I hate being tired and anything that makes me tired turns me off. Now could of using the stimulants made the structure of the kratom less pronounced or just made me feel that there is something out there that can give me energy and this stuff is more for a downer person.

You took too much I'm guessing. If you only take 5-7 grams the stimulant properties should be more pronounced.

Try different strains. Good white vein is quite stimulating in my experience.

the effects you got from kratom are pretty much contigent on your form of the day. sometimes maeng da stimulates me, sometimes it sedates me. like others said, smaller dosages are more stimulating turn, while high doses sedate you. also use white strains if you want a stimulating experience.
